So when do you think when people visiit you they act different than they do at home?
My Friend thinks so because mother-in-law is visiting from VA for a few weeks.
She says that her MIL walks around thehouse in her underwear.
She is sure that when they visit the MIL in VA she wears clothes.
Since people act different when they travel have they ever acted different when they visit your house?

No, my issue is when people act the SAME when they are at my house. A gracious host(ess) is made by gracious guests. Be polite, show appreciation, don't presume (opening folks' fridge, etc.--what is it about fridges that are so sacred anyway? lol), don't impose (invite other folks over, run up their phone bill, eat up all the snacks). I can appreciate that you feel comfortable in my home, but it isn't YOUR home. Help me help you.

My expecatations of visitors are that should feel compfortable but not get too familar! Walking around in the undies in just not a good idea. Drinking out of the carton, blowing up my bathroom, not goood!

I had a house guest once their stay was suppose to be for 1 week while they "got back on their feet". Well one week turned into an extended stay. You learn alot about a person when you reside under the same roof. Like how nasty they are and how they leave dirty panties in the bathroom (lol) and leave dishes in the sink. If you ate out it wash it. Did you put money on these groceries then WHY are you eating them all up. Needless to stay that little run made me have a strong disdain for my friend and we are not as close as we use to be.
