I've heard a few folks talking about travel and vacation plans. What are some of the wild or unusual things you've done (or heard of your hypothetical "friends" doing) on vacay that you'd never do at home?

I'll start. Every time I leave town, I usually go to the club. I never, ever club at home, but in ATL, NOLA, HOU, DAL, LA, BOS or CHI? All bets are off. This is especially true if I'm travelling alone or for work. Also, I take shots when I'm out of town. Never see a need to do that at home though

I do the same things that I do at home
I’m very consistent
I'm more likely to do more law abiding thing when I travel

LOL! I hear Queen's point. I tend to be on decent behavior when I'm abroad. Domestic travel (i.e. someplace where I can defend MYSELF in federal court, if need be) brings out the wildness, however.
I've noticed that I show WAY more skin when I'm in no danger of running into a client, my grandmother or a church member. Last time I was in ATL, my cleavage saw more light of day (and dark of night) than it had in maybe a year.

Hmmm...I revert back to my college partying ways (but only when I'm out of the country). Can't do it stateside anymore...its too likely that I'll run into a business associate.

I'm going to Houston this weekend and ATL next month. Our girls trips usually consist of a whole lotta liquor (which I don't buy drank for the house and usually only drink socially) and body shots. I am the friend that is usually over a trash can or toilet as passer oners say "hey your friend over there is sick". We always have one sober friend that can tell us what we did while inebriated but there is usually a lot of incriminating photos that we keep locked in one of my friends safes. I hope me and her never get into it...

I like to party with folks who know their limits and don't need babysitting. |

I'm not the sick drunk friend, nor am I the sober friend that can later recount in full detail the shenanigans of the crew. I am, however, the one that can drink without appearing drunk, walk without falling, dance without stumbling, carry full conversations that make perfect sense, AND give my keys to the sober friend because I'm drunk enough to realize that I can't drive. All of the above happened Tuesday night at my cousin's bday celebration.

To stay on subject, I tend to let loose. I let my hair down and I let Party Chal come out and play. I show a bit more skin and dance a bit harder, BUT my drinks are lighter. I MUST keep my wits about me when I'm not on my home turf.

Yeah being trashed is so not lady like but for some reason it always happens to me...yeah I'm a light weight I admit I can't handle my liquor. Hopefully, this weekend will not be a repeated event I don't want to be like in Hangover II!! |
