Good stuff and I will agree... I do believe we have to manage our thoughts. At this point maybe my line is leaning too far on the heathen side but I try my best not to go full fledge sinning.... Lord please don't take sexting away from me...

It's just porn period. It doesn't move me. Watching someone else have relations is not my thing. I understand that some people use it as a point of reference when trying new/different things, but hey, what you eat don't make me poop.

Let's consider James' words on the subject:
"But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death" (James 1: 14-15)
Does that mean anything to you? What is involved in making desire "become fertile?"

What is involved in making desire "become fertile?" -my first mind tells me that "become fertile" refers to acting on your thoughts. At second glance it could mean more like DECIDING to act on those those or entertaining the idea of acting on those thought.

Lord please don't take sexting away from me... ok, someone clarify. what exactly is "sexting" is it sending naughty texts about what you're gonna/you wanna do to someone? is it dirty pictures? is it like the text version of phone boning? I mean what? Help me out here. I feel so lost.

This common(-ly misinterpreted) phrase comes from Hebrews 13:4. In full, it says: "Let marriage be honorable among all, and the marriage bed be without defilement, for God will judge fornicators and adulterers" what does this mean to you? why? Is there any activities that should be off-limits for married couples or are all bets off? run it, please! Nothing that the two people in the marriage agree to and will participate in jointly should be off limits. If you don't indulge your partner's fantasies and kinky requests, someone will. Key is to know what thse are prior to marriage.

Yes that's exactly what it is. It is getting the excitement of thinking, talking, and performing sex acts without actually doing them-YET. That could include sending revealing or nude pics or naughty text messages.
Somtimes people meet, then send pictures, then they send naked pictures, they may ultimately meet if they find that they're compatible.

ok, (with that definition/explanation) now I'm trying to figure out the point. a picture of a peter #noapostle does not excite me, nor will it lead me to feel that we are compatible. But hey, to each his/her on.
