SO I was just reading the "This is why I love Him/Her" thread and I could do nothing but shake my damn head at my self! The gentleman I spoke of with such passion in that thread was my Ex and I was holding on to a love that made me feel comfortable in the past. In hindsight I am utterly embarrassed because I went against one of my own sayings: YOUR EX IS AN EX FOR A REASON!
So what's your reason? The things that made my ex an EX are the exact same things that popped me upside my head when I found myself in-one-sided-love with him again. We can use this thread as a reminder of why we should keep the past in the past! Let's run em!!

I'll go first!
*He was OVERLY goal driven! (like dude had a pocket full of dreams but no patience to see them thru till the end. Or was a sucka for a get rich quick scheme [think: Raisin In The Sun])
*Selfish
*cocky (Let me tell you what this mofo told me! SO he read somewhere that to every one Black man there are 6 Black women. So he calls me one day and says "Bae! So I was reading this statistic right. And I was thinking, I'm like the epitome of a Black Man at this point. I mean, Im pretty much everything a woman in today's world wants. SO, I was thinking....it would be just amazingly selfish of me to hold all of that to one woman. That would be just rude. My goal now is to have a home with 6 women! Not even on the sexual tip....just because these women deserve a good man like me these days!" HE WAS SERIOUS!!! This was about 2yrs ago when we were just friends (after the relationship)....needless to say...this is still his goal!
*money hungry (one of those guys who responds to a "how you been" with a "as long as Im getting this money Im alright!" UGH!!!
*overly emotional
*idiotic logics
*didn't realize what he had until it was gone. I need me someone who realizes what they have WHILE they have it! Thanks!
there's a bunch more but these were the main things!

There were several reasons whay, but I'll go with once we made it to fiance/fiancee status, major changes happened.
~he became overly protective ~he tried to be controlling ~he lived a double standard ~i lost respect for him
~etc. etc. etc.
No where in here am i taking blame away from myself. however, it was his actions that caused my catastophic reactions. ~
