*The lovely and proud ladies of Omega Omicron emerge from the shadows of the night wearing black dresses with an orchid corsage, accented with buttercream and powder blue flowers. On this important and revered occasion e-members from near and far, graduate and undergraduate, e-neo and seasoned e-soror gather to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the founding of this illustrious e-organization. They walk quietly across the e-yard carrying candles. They lock arms and form a circle around the OO plot*
*The plot is made of onyx engraved with E-Sorority’s shield and motto, and the images of Omega Omicron’s Most Honorable E-Founders LejaLaMorena and Spr2001nj. An eternal flame shines brilliantly representing OO’s legacy and everlasting e-bond. The picture of an owl with the words “Education, Fellowship and Mentorship” are found underneath.*
*QueenOh and Southie hand their candles to Sapphy and Chal, step forward then place a festive floral wreath on the plot in honor of OO’s dynamic, beautiful, bold, awe-inspiring, gracious, visionary and legendary e-Founders then rejoin the Omicron circle*
*AKAD and Gamma hand their candles to LogAKAl and Fatal and place special bouquets, a stuffed teddy bear and owl near the plot then rejoin the Omicron circle*
*BP leads the e-sorors in the singing of the official OO Hymn. Hyp reads a poem about e-love and everlasting e-sisterhood; then in unison they recite their e-Founders day reaffirmation*
In commemoration of the founding of our illustrious e-sisterhood we reflect on all we have accomplished and all we have become. We have grown both in essence and in number, and will continue to use our e-talents, e-hopes and e-dreams to better ourselves and others. For Five years we have answered the call. For Five years we have done our best to make you proud. Today we celebrate our e-achievements, e-dreams and our e-potential. We know there is still much to be done. We reaffirm our e-dedication to the vision, ideals and principles upon which we were e-founded.
We thank you. We honor you. We respect, love and cherish you… always. You are at the heart of all we do. You are our mother; you are our sister; you are our friend; no matter where you go or what you do, our hearts are with you always. You will never be forgotten. You are an everlasting and unbreakable bond. You are Omega Omicron!
Today is the day of our creation. Today is the day of our birth. Today is the day of our future. Today is ours!
*They quietly sing the OO e-Soror song then throw up the hand sign and let out a resounding “OOOOO~OOOOO!!!!*
*They embrace, rejoice and reflect on the beauty of their e-sisterhood and look forward to a successful e-Founders Day Week before blowing out their candles and taking their leave. And just like that, the ladies of OO vanish into the night*
