Maybe I just haven't really been anywhere...but er uh...we're honoring individuals with license plates these days?

lol @ Quiet! Ol Miss just stopped THIS century playing Dixie at their games and changing their mascot from the Rebel. Mississippi has always been backwards and behind times, and this further proves it. Hayle, the org was started in TN but that state isn't honoring him. Ass backwards.

1. I kinda like Col. Reb and the band playing Dixie....I mean...it is Mississippi.
2. If these folks want to advertise to the world that they are members of or support an organization like the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan then fine with me. More power to'em.
Here's the problem....the Knights were a secret society in that most didn't want their identity to be public for obvious reasons. So why would a member display a plate that advertises his membership? Why would any citizen advertise their financial support of such an organization? I'm not saying that they DON'T support the Klan...just that most don't want their secretary or co-workers to know that they support the Klan.
So if they are bold enough to get out there like that...then more power to them.

Cam got a point with #2. They wore hoods for a reason.
I read somewhere yesterday that the gov. of Mississippi won't denounce the making of the license plate.
In conjunction with Cam's #2, let them have the tags, this way I know up front what I'm dealing with, lol!
*throws popcorn at his #1*
Booooo, Cam! No other Southern state is doing that, and heck S. Carolina was the first to secede, I'm just saying.
