She's my (platonic) girl crush. I have a great respect for how she uses the media platform and her general aura. And she has 4 kids under 9 to boot!

I read an article that had an excerpt from her book where she talked about this. He sat there with his lighter that Black skin, straighter than nappy hair and said that someone else wasn't "Black enough"? ' I wonder if Nat Turner or Tubman would consider Jesse "Black enough"? |
