OO's 2nd Annual Project Warm Embrace Coat Drive

The final months of the year usher in the holidays and a bustling shopping season, but they also bring some of the year's coldest weather. Did you know that 90% of homeless adults need a new, warm coat each winter because they have no place to keep one over the summer months? But it's not just homeless people who need our help… many Hazerville e-residents are forced to make a choice between buying a winter coat and putting food on the table, or meeting other basic survival needs.

The ladies of Alpha and Beta Chapters of Omega Omicron E-Sorority, Inc. and the E-Salvation Army invite you to give the gift of warmth by supporting our coat drive: Project Warm Embrace. Help make someone's winter a little warmer by donating new or gently used coats. All sizes are needed including infants, toddlers, children, teens and adults. Sweaters, mittens, gloves, scarves, hats, socks and boots are also welcome. Don’t have any coats to give? Please consider making a cash donation and we’ll purchase a coat or sweater on your behalf.

Donations will be accepted until Friday, December 3, 2010, and all items collected be given to the e-Salvation Army and given to local e-families.
