They would know it's them by the number you put with it. So for example, I would PM you #34. Then in your status you would put: #34, You're the greatest poster on OOA hands down. LOL |

A: I get as angry as most progressives when I see what I interpret as spineless behavior from the leader of the free world. The irritation intensifies when I think that the immediate past occupier of that seat, with much less intelligence or insight, made decisions and was proud to dismiss logic or due process in favor of ...wait for it..."what he felt in his gut".
Having said all that, I'm thinking that Obama is treading prudently through this political environment. The current tax proposal will get gutted, by the house, of the most egregious aspect (reduction of cap gains) and will pass. If this waits till January, people will indeed get their unemployment but the Republicans run the risk of not getting their 2 year extension of tax cuts once Tea Baggers get into office and realize that it will add tremendously to the deficit.
The Republicans are about to feel the sting of allowing themselves to be aligned with the Tea Party. It's about to be a conservative cat fight!!!
Obama always says that this is a marathon and not a sprint. I think he is planning this much like he did his campaign. It's not popular but it's always easier to be tough when you are not in charge. That's my opinion of the presidency. You will see a much more "in your face" Obama in 2011.
