And also, for this! Make SURE you click on the link to see the pics: www.jackandjillpolitics.com/2010/09/how-leading-republicans-boehner-steele-mcconnell-party-with-black-people-dressed-as-slaves/ wish I could say I was shocked. I’ll admit I did vomit a little in my mouth when I saw this over at FITSNews via Elon James White’s Facebook page. Then my eyes crossed and I passed out from sheer outrage. I’m ok now though and am channeling my uh, concern into this here blog post. I swear to God this election season is going to give me some kinda tiny blood clot in my brain. If you were wondering why Republicans have initiated such a strong Block Barack program even when he promotes their own ideas as policies…well, look no further. This is from The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) conference last weekend. They called this event: “A Southern Experience” and um…in some bizarre fetish fantasy world, perhaps it is. In the photo above, S.C. Senate President Glenn McConnell flanked by some fake slaves. However, this is 2010 not 1810 nor even 1910. This “Southern Experience” doesn’t exist anymore and I don’t really know where they found black people willing to dress like slaves and coon it up for the nice, paying white GOP politicos, donors, big wigs and fat cats. I suppose it must be desperate times. But no matter how desperate, I want these guys’ names — they are the very definition of race traitors. It’s tempting to chalk this up to lingering provincial bigotry — but this deserves national coverage because of the folks invited to this conference include (from their own program): 1 dude, Agent Orange Boehner who, if the House turns over in Nov to the Republicans, would be 3rd in line for the presidency (behind Obama & Biden) plus another dude who’s the putative head of the Republican Party, HNIC RNC Chairman and pioneer of race traitoring Michael Steele plus of course, completing the Trifecta — a guy from Fox News. If it weren’t so horrible, it would be a little bit funny. Maybe they should dress up Steele and he can give all his speeches dressed in authentic antebellum costume so we can fully appreciate the GOP agenda. Somewhere, a tiny tear is coasting down MLK’s cheek…even Booker T. would not be okay with this. Here’s a list of their invited speakers from their program. I wonder how many attended “A Southern Experience” and how many will condemn this dark, distorted, disturbing vision of the South. Michael Steele, RNC Chairman Jan Larimer, RNC Co-Chairman Rep. Bobby Harrell, Speaker of the SC House of Representatives Rep. John Boehner, Republican House Minority Leader Gov. Mark Sanford (Appalachian Trail, anyone? This seems like a good time for another visit…Run Mark — run!) Sen. Jim DeMint (running against Alvin Greene — you remember him?) Mallory Factor, FOX News Contributor Rep. Joe Wilson (you’ll remember him — he called the President a liar during Obama’s first State of the Union) Rep. Nikki Haley (Tea Party darling) Sen. Mitch McConnell, Senate Republican Leader Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer Ambassador David Wilkins Liz Cheney Sen. Lindsay Graham Karen Floyd, South Carolina Republican Party Chairman I know — it’s sad that Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh weren’t able to make it, but it’s not too late to join in the fun — I’m sure Palin will tell the NFRW’s mama grizzlies: “Don’t retreat, reload.” Then she’ll pull on a Klan hood over that red suit, add some lipstick around the white mouth edges and take a cover photo with a gun. Take a good hard look at these photos. The motivation and symbolism is all too clear. The Republican party officially would like to pull African-Americans back into slavery and share-cropping. The NFRW put this publicly up on Facebook! They think it’s cool!!! This isn’t even really a dogwhistle. It’s just all blatant and what not. Look black folk — if this isn’t enough to get you to the polls this November to prevent these people from taking over our country again — I don’t know what will. We must push back and hard — we have a dream today and it’s an America where we don’t have to dress like slaves to make Republicans feel more comfortable. This is nothing short of a declaration of war — with you and me in the crosshairs. The GOP’s slave revolt repression is in full effect with hired black stooges to boot. What are you going to do about it?

There are plenty of TP candidates that will do just fine. You say thanks to the tea Party, but the one you should be thanking for this potential Agenda stopping election is barack Obama. But I will admit that it will take much more than a party to fix this mess. It will take an informed electorate.

Neither does a progressive, liberal rant make an informed electorate. Now my mom believes she is hardcore Democrat, but based on the conversations we had this weekend, she is far from it. She detests entitlements, and believes that individual effort plays a large part in where you can go in life. Now before you even think about getting started in on my mom, remember son, she grew up and lived in the south in the 40's and 50's, lived the Civil Rights Era, etc. She is even pained by some of the crap going on here. But let's be real here, Bush and Obama are not much different when it comes to spending, Obama just took it to a new level. "Hating the first black president " robe You're ignorant!!!!!!!!! Now the issue of this good ole boy party. I wonder why this never saw the light of day on anywhere but the internet. I mean seriously; yo would think something as foul as this would have made it into numerous campaign ads. WHY NOT? Okay Robe, do you or do you not support a repeal of the 17th amendment and WHY? Do you or do you not support a repeal of the 14th or 15th amendment and WHY? I capitalized why for a reason........

I stand boldly by EVERYTHING I posted! Since you advocate so for these "tea-baggin'" quacks...answer ONE (just ONE) question for me without alot of long-winded bullschit as you usually do:
Where were the tea-baggers/tea-party/tea-pee PRIOR to November 4, 2008, and why did they become even more vocal AFTER January 20, 2009? If you truly believe that the "foundation" for this whole tea party movement is anything LESS than their hate for Pres. Obama, then you are even more mindless than I've ever imagined you being before!
They claim to hate big spending so much....whereinhell were they when Dubya and the cardiac kid the "Dick" Cheney were spending like Las Vegas gamblers and starting wars costing billions?? Remember....A SIMPLE ANSWER! If you can't give one, don't respond at all! It would be a waste of your time, and certainly a waste of mine!

But it's the liberal way to cry loud and have no answers. Well your boy has done plenty of damage, I just hope this new government ALONG WITH OBAMA can stop the bleeding.

Look kid, even I was ticked off enough not to vote for Bush in 2004. There was plenty of Conservative angst before your boy took office. So you can say that I am wrong all day. You saying I am wrong doesn't amount to much coming from you since 99.9% of what you say is CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN based. The only guy I can stand to listen to is Anderson Cooper.
Now you just swallow this deluge of defeat, and it's too bad that the title of this thread is actually a backfire FOR NOW. We will now have to see what this next crowd is going to do. Are they going to be Third Wavers and cave in to lobbiest/special interest pressure, or are they going to attempt to do as they claim? I have come to understand that a vote is a hope, nothing more, nothing less.
If you want to even argue about race and party, I suggest you do some research.

You skipped right around Robe's point. Bush's spending included two wars and massive tax cuts favoring the rich as well as the completely unpaid for "Medicare D" and the severely underfunded NCLB. And over 8years of this failed economic policy - No protests. No rallies. No angry picket signs filled with misspelled words and incoherent grammar. The Tea Party didn't start UNTIL 2009, February by most accounts. Bush wasn't in office and Obama wasn't even in for a MONTH before they felt the need to launch this protest.

Please watch all six parts. By the way, Frontline is a taxpayer funded program. Now Damie to deal with your ASSUMPTION about the Tea Party's emergence. How long was Omega's emergence after they had formed SECRETLY? You do not know when the BASIS or structure of the Tea Party was formed. So many try to give me reasons why I wrote a book exposing Greek Orgs. Now how can they do that? Ignorance and Assumption!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude there WAS no tea party during Bush's spending spree. That's the point. They didn't form in silence (nothing about their existence has EVER been about silence). Since their inception (in 2009) they have been loud and noisy. No new ideas, no new found anger over deficits to which they had turned a blind eye for 8 years. Just people who were disgruntled with the election results and looking for academic cover in which their bitterness could be stoked and incubated.
For crying out loud, the NEW speaker of the House VOTED for TARP (Boehner). The people saying they're against Bailouts supported people who were FOR bailouts. That and the almost instantaneous rise of the Tea Party (before Health Care was even started) tells you right there that the policies had NOTHING to do with their opposition.

Just what in hell are these crazy, loud-mouth, paranoid, tin foil hat-wearing freaks talking about when some looney heifer stands up in tears, shreiking about when she screams shrilly "and I want my country back?" Whothephuck "took" her country away from her? Here's a message to you and your tea-baggin' buddies....you got what you wanted! Now, let's see you get off your crazy asses and actually do something about making things better, after all, who the hell are you freaks gonna say NO to now? Personally, I don't expect a thing to be done any differently from you wingnuts! After all, John "Orange Boy" Bohner and the senator with the double chin from KY (McConnell or whatever the hell his name is,) have vehemently stated, "our main objective is to guarantee that Barack Obama is a one-term president." We earthlings clearly understand what they mean. What does it mean to those who inhabit your planet?

Sorry Damie, but I have read both sides. One thing is clear, Obama can change his course, or possibly get squashed in 2012. And please let me address this Tea Party issue. Congress has had very low approval ratings for the past 4 years. WHO HAD THE MAJORITY FOR THOSE YEARS? But that's not my real point, my real point is that 70% DISAPPROVAL ratings is not the result of the Tea Party. It's the result of bad governing by the MAJORITY. Bush's fault was his signing of the TARP, but appropriations come from congress do they not? We can go back and forth, but Obama screwed up as well.
