I'm pretty sure all football fans have heard about this little dispute. It boils down to the fact that Haynesworth wants nothing to do with the 3-4 defense the Redskins are installing. No to mention they only sign him to a contract worth up to a $100 mil with $41 mil guaranteed...but that's chump change to Dan Snyder it seems.
Am i the only one that actually sides with Haysnesworth on this matter??

I don't. I mean I could see if he was going to get another pay day after this. Why not just play your contract out. I mean after this he will be washd up anyway so might as well try something new. He acting like his stats will matter when its time for the reup. Uh no bruh. Your time will be done by then

Yea you right about all that. But his role in the 3-4 is something that what he's used to in the 4-3. Surely if he knew the Redskins was gonna stop using the 4-3 i don't know if he would've sign with them.
But i do think stats has a role in it, i don't think he's thinking his next contract. I think he's worried about he stats compared to the hall of famers. Surely his sacks and tackle stats will drop significantly if he plays in the 3-4. The only real people who'll benefit from his move would be the rest of the front seven. lol

And lets just go further with this...take Revis and the Jets, Mankins and the Patriots, Mangold and the Jets, Johnson and the Titans, etc etc.
Everyone looks down on them when they hold out....but i dont blame them for wanting to be paid now. The NFL and it's owners isn't very nice when it to comes players. As soon as you get injured and/or old...your cut and done. They'll praise you on Monday and on Friday you find yourself outta work.

I agree with Vudu. He got the big ass contract, he's not gonna get another one. Just play whatever they want you to play at this point. If it fails, blame it on the coach.

He should give back some of that money since he doesn't want to play.
