I know this could be coincidence... but really... what are the chances? Like being struck by lightning twice right? It was on Nancy Grace this morning. They may catch him this time. Grace pointed out that he does not speak the language well and that because he killed a native this time, more resources will be allocated to finding him.

I must admit I watch Nancy Grace not only for entertainment value, but to keep up on the ever changing laws in society. Sometimes Nancy can be over the TOP.
Anyway, I believe Van der Sloot's folks have a lil' paper, hence why he was able to get away with Natalee's death w/ that lawyer he had (who no longer represents him). I would think my man would be on the low with his escapades around the world- attending polker tournaments and whatnot?

SD- Nancy Grace brought up a lot of major differences that may make it easier to prosecute him this time. His father passed away. His father was in control of a lot in Aruba. The young lady is he accused of killing in Peru comes from a prominent family.

His father passed away. His father was in control of a lot in Aruba. I didn't know his father died??? WOW..... Yes I saw the whole story on the news this morning and how she came from a prominent family. Van der Sloot prob though she was some Peruvian trash and no one would care if she dissappeared or not. The Uncle or Cousin of the young lady was on the Today Show this morning and he looked sooo sad (respectively). But he did indicate that they will bring her killer to justice.

Evidently, the FBI could have picked him up for extortion. So this girl did not have to die. Hold him for what and how long in Aruba? Unfortunately, laws have loopholes. His daddy's will not be there to hold his hand now.

Yea I saw on the news this morning that they picked him up in Chile. They gave a montage of his escapades after Natalee's dissapperance and I had NO IDEA this dude was going around giving different accounts on how Natalee died? One minute he says that she had a seizure on the beach and he dumped her body in the ocean, then the next minute he tells the police that he sold her to become a sex slave some damn where. I mean WTF is this dude's problem??? I just can't wait to see how this story unfolds.

This girl's father ran for president of the country. He is highly connected. This boah is going down as he should.
I think the guilt ate his father alive.
Now he's back at it again. This is a damn shame. No other words for it because he should have been locked up.

On the surveillance cameras it shows that he went out for coffee and came back with two cups just minutes before they are calculating her death.

Yeah, it is true that someone can be labeled under one orientation and go both ways. I think he drugged her too, because she was walking weird with her head down on the surveillance camera. I strongly believe this was an "anniversary killing" that many serial killers do. Because I think Stephany was killed 5 year to the date that Natalee disappeared (was probably killed). This whole story is too much. He shoulda stayed clean and out of trouble after Natalie Holloway. Maybe he can't help it. I haven't really followed the story because the only reason we're hearing about is because of Natalie Holloway. I feel bad for her but got sick of the coverage knowing there were so many other women out there than needed press time. If he's guilty I hope he gets time and faces repercussions.

But here's my thing...the story I was listening to suggested (not sure if this is what he actually said or them just inferring) that he was afraid she might see evidence of what happened to Natalee on his laptop. Now if that's true, WTH would he keep evidence of a 5 year-old murder/disappearance on your computer. And furthermore...especially since he comes from $$...WTH does he even still have the same laptop 5 years later?!?!? He admitted to it, claiming that the victim was looking through his laptop and he got mad so he grabbed her by the neck and hit her in the head! and if there's evidence on the laptop, wouldn't it have been discovered when it was seized during one of his arrests? They do do that in Aruba right?

Quiet, this guys is clearly not working with viable brain cells. I did hear the same thing. I also heard that he lied alot about his involvement in the Holloway case. He wants that attention, even tho he didn't kill her ( a theory). Like he is playing a game with law enforcement...
It was also reported that his confession was partly because he knew he was caught so he focusing on getting the charges reduced to a lesser crime. Im not sure how all this will play out because i haven't heard any circumstance that would warrant the charges to be reduced from murder to second degree murder. The confession clearly is not enough.

It makes sense that he would keep information related to Natalee's murder. Some killers like to keep mementos or reminders of their crimes for personal gratification.
