The musicians "are expecting a baby and are engaged to be married in a private ceremony later this year," reps for the couple said. "They're very happy." The announcement comes after the two, who have been together since fall 2008, attended a Black Ball in London for Keys' "Keep a Child Alive" charity on Thursday, May 27. Swizz Beatz (Kasseem Dean) has two sons, Prince Nasir, 9, and Kasseem Jr., 3 , both from pervious relationships. This will be Keys' first marriage and the couples' first child together.

Why is the younger boy named Junior? I always though that it was dumb to name any other son besides the first one Junior. |

Maybe the first son's mother wanted a different name... maybe he didn't know he was the father until later... maybe they just love Prince and Hip Hop.
The first son is customary but there could be a variety of reasons why they switched it up.

Was he married to the first wife when the first child was born? Some people wait until they are married to name "jr." *shrugs* Also Prince could have a family significance.
I'm confused as to why they lied about it for so long. I mean eventually the baby will be hear. Some paparizzi photographer would get the wedding photos.

They all deny things until they are ready to confirm it. Jennifer Hudson denied her pregnancy even when she had begun to show. Janet Jackson denied her marriage for 11 years. I don't necessarily consider it lying, it's more so "mind your business". |

^^^ lie/deny, same difference in many cases. It's something that creates more drama for them in the end though. They could have said, "yes she is pregnant and we are getting married, now leave us the h*ll alone" and been done with it.

they said different relationshipS...it may be more than one baby momma...and in that case, the second child is HIS second but his FIRST with the wifey.

Because they are in denial that their fame means their lives are under a microscope. Her album hadn't dropped yet. I would have lied to avoid affecting record sales. Still don't change the fact he triflin and she a slut. |
