-P- @ Chal; Yeah, they weren't quite understanding what was expected of them, and they got WAY crazy with the back & forth foolishness. We had a nice LONG talk about that last night. You're invited to tea @ my home today. Will you be there? @julie: I hope you'll reconsider, and come by for a visit when the CATERPILLARS are on better behavior. THAT is not how Epsilon Xi presents itself, and I assure you, they HAVE been dealt with. -P- *Walks into the Cocoon, sees the Caterpilliars spent their time today watching movies * ~These worms haven't learned a DAYUM thing! They got time to sit around watching love stories? For REAL?!?!? I see I haven't given them enough to so, STILL. We'll fix that today!~

After you all's TRAGEDY this weekend, and being on the BRINK of e-annihilation as a line...
You had time to sit up & watch movies, today, huh?
EXPLAIN THAT ISH TO ME RIGHT NOW.
How in the e-hell *looking them up & down* did you figure THAT was a good idea?
YOU all don't THINK! *knocks each caterpillar on the forehead* HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU TO DO SO?
Since you can't seem to do it on your own, assumes the Thinker pose until I finish giving you your next instructions!
MOVE!

*still earlier this morning* *turns around with The Terminator in hand* Assume the Thinker's position before I make you assume ANOTHER position! *Caterpillars scramble to hit the wall & do "The Thinker"* I thought so. I am SO disappointed in you all. I was expecting you to carry yourselves like ladies & behave as though you had some sense while I was away, but OH NO - you show your ROYAL ARSES on the board. It makes me wonder whether or not you're E-Xi material AT ALL. The spectacle you make of yourselves & your level of disrespect was ridiculous. NOW, we had this conversation last night...and y'all come in the house today watching movies?!?!? Where they do THAT at? How you got time to watch movies, but you can't recite poetry without stut-stut-stuttering in e-set? As much as you got to work on, The Notebook was the best use of the time you've been given? Y'all piss me off consistently! Now, I gotta go do e-damage control because of your insolence. We're hosting a summit for OO & GPhi later today. YOU will be the servers. YOU will speak only when spoken to. YOU will greet these ladies with enthusiasm & attend to their every request. YOU will make amends for the damage you've done to E-Xi's reputation with your stunts. And, if YOU have a problem with it, I"ll be sure to help YOU solve it... ...Since there are so many cot dayum individuals on this sorry excuse for an e-line, YOU will serve everyone individually. Do I make myself clear?

What is virtual volunteering?Your time, your terms
Virtual volunteering is a way to get involved, take action, and generally 'give back' online, without some of the restrictions of other volunteering opportunities. It's been called volunteering, cyber activism and other names.
By becoming a virtual volunteer you can get involved in a huge range of different activities at any time, from any place. Many people find it difficult to get to a charity or organisation to help out, maybe because of mobility issues or work commitments, but volunteering virtually stops this being a problem.
Virtual volunteering allows you to arrange to complete tasks at a time and place that suits you best, so you aren't excluded because you're unable to work on-site during office hours. By searching our database you'll have a choice of a huge selection of different opportunities and many allow you to choose how much time you will need to commit. So if you want to get involved just click the link below and start searching for your perfect volunteering opportunity.

C1: And here is another about Nik who does virtual volunteering. His story is pretty cool, eh?
www.thesite.org/workandstudy/volunteering/casestudies/beingavirtualvolunteer
Being a virtual volunteer
Nik is a virtual volunteer for Changemakers and part of his role is to get more people volunteering virtually. Here's what it's all about.
I was working as a volunteer at my local children's hospice, helping around the house and the hospice shop. This made me realise I wanted to find out about other volunteering opportunities and how to get involved with non-profit organisations and charities.
I checked out do-it.org.uk - a database full of volunteering opportunities, and that's where I found my first link to virtual volunteering.
What is virtual volunteering?Virtual volunteering, also called online volunteering, means completing tasks for charities and organisations through the internet. Virtual volunteering is a great way to get involved, take action, and generally 'give back' online, and the best bit is that you can do it all from home!
'Virtual' doesn't mean that it's not real, just that you don't need to be in any particular place to volunteer. For some people it can make life a lot easier to volunteer online in their spare time. Virtual volunteering can also enable you to reach beyond your local area and even support people and projects overseas.
My roleI work as a Virtual Volunteering Advisor helping to get more people involved in volunteering both online and face-to-face. I work with an organisation called Changemakers and we aim to get young people involved in virtual volunteering.
It's great to get new ideas off the ground and build up the idea of virtual volunteering in the public eye.
I can work within my own time from home. I write articles, gather information about youth groups and search for virtual volunteering opportunities offered by other charities.
Although I work at home, I'm not alone! There are quite a few of us virtual volunteering advisors and every so often we host meetings over the phone and online to see how everyone is getting on.
Developing new skillsGetting involved has given me the chance to develop many skills including podcasting, vodcasting and filmmaking. In my role I need to use my knowledge of the internet and IT to use these technologies. Media sites like MySpace, Facebook and Mediabox help me to get the virtual volunteering message across to people. I've also attended some great national youth events like Wired and the YoMo youth projects conferences. I delivered workshops to increase awareness about getting involved as a volunteer online.
The best bit about being a virtual volunteer is that it's a whole new concept and I'm one of the first to do it. It's great to get new ideas off the ground and build up the idea of virtual volunteering in the public eye. It's also been great to find out about different charities while I've been gathering virtual volunteering opportunities.

C2: Wow, these are cool! C1: I know right. Maybe when C4 gets home, we can look over them together and come up with some ideas and run them by E-Dean Big Sister Lovely Inspiration when she arrives home. C2: Cool, can't wait. C1: ok then. Well, i am about to go do laundry. Just seems like it is about to be one of those days... sigh
