BWAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *gaps* BWAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *gasp* BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAH *gasp* Oh Damie, please silence the violins playing in the background---your high horse is becoming irritated by the sound. ;D (I know I will pay for that, but I think it was worth it. ) Tiger WAS GREEDY. Which opened the door for his WIFE to be greedy. There's nothing more to it. I feel no sympathy for this man at all. Tiger is earning his money. Granted I think it's probably overpriced... I could say the same about Oprah too, or anyone in the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, Hollywood, Music, etc. Very few people actually DO anything worth that amount of money... but they are EARNING it... as opposed to those who acquire signficance merely by being the +1 guest who got upgraded.
I laugh at the Victim's Guild that live vicariously through celebrity spouses, hoping to strike a blow for justice that they themselves were denied in their own past relationships. But... in the words of one of my chapter Bruhz... "if that's your style, that's your style".
I for one am happy each time such opportunistic, vengeful, and calculating efforts are thwarted regardless of it's perpetrated by a man (yes Kevin Federline - I am talking to you) or by women (insert scroll of names here).

No not at all... in fact... why stop at $750 million? Tiger should give her all his money. Why not? She should get any and all houses, any and all cars, and if by some chance he actually wins a tournament again all those earnings should got to her too. It's not about who earned it afterall - it's about exacting revenge. Why leave him with anything? Right. She should go for the entire estate, however in the spirit of being nice, and not wanting him to go hungry...keep a few dollars his way. ;D There is no spirit of nice in revenge... Tiger must be vanquished. She should get the money plus he should serve as an indentured servant until the next Jubilee.

LOL - those aren't violins... they're bitter women. Same high pitched sound though.
If Elin is being greedy, then there is no more reason to be sympathetic to her, than Tiger. Accordingly, I am not. The worse case scenario for her she only gets $50 million and child support payments (which will be sizable), and all she had to do to get it was pal around with Tiger Woods as his +1 for his formal dinners and events for 5 years. Pretty good for someone who was working retail and doubling as a nanny before he met her. LOL. Y'all have fun with this. I hope her settlement brings you all absolution and vindication. As someone once said...don't hate the player hate the game. Tiger entered. He got took. Happens all the time. The end. On a serious note I really do not have sympathy for him. Now there is no longer a reason for me to feel sympathy for Elin. But still...there's the kids. No one thinks about the kids until they grow up, become drug addicts and jump outta hotel windows. On a positive note...here it was only a few months ago and folks were saying she was gonna stay for the money. How ironic...she leaves for the money. She would have been labeled a gold digger either way she went. Good that she is doing what's best for her and the kids.

Of course this is mostly about revenge...and I think thats perfectly ok. Who here HASN'T tried to seek revenge when they felt they were wronged? She's doing it in perfectly legitimate means. It'll be up to a judge to decide whether or not she gets what she's seeking, but she's well within her rights to seek it. When Tiger married her, like it or not some of "his" money became "hers." He made his bed, and now he can lie in it, but once she's done he might not have any sheets...LOL.

If his net worth is $600 million and her demand is $750 million...
...well you can do the math. And the obvious just becomes more obivous.

How are you so sure this is revenge? Perhaps she feels this is her (combined with the children's) worth in the matter.<-------oh there's that ugly word again. If we were talking $200,000 dollars no one would care. This type of stuff goes on with divorces all the time. People take what they feel is entitled to them. When we start talking major figures like...let's see 750 million then folks start questioning motive. FOHWT As someone once said...don't hate the player hate the game. Tiger entered. He got took. It makes a person want to stay broke. LOL

Checklist to Determine If a Divorce is About Revenge:
1. Is she a woman scorned? Yes [x] No [ ]

LOL - actually now that I think about it. Busting the windows in Tiger's car probably also wasn't about revenge. She probably just wanted to make sure he was getting enough oxygen while driving.

I will not get into that right now. Elin:(picks up golf club , starts swinging and screaming in an irrate manner) (BEEP) (BEEP) (BEEP) (BEEP) (BLEEEPPITYYY)

Marriage is for broke people. Dont' believe what you heard....it's not about anything spiritual. If it were, it would last in the afterlife. It doesn't.
Funny thing is this....Tiger and Elin will get back together. Watch....

This is absolutely about revenge and there is no other way to spin it. What if this was a drug problem and she left him asking for $750 million dollars? What if they just decided that they couldn't get along and she left asking for $750 million dollars?
The circumstances have determined that this is revenge. She wont get all that but she will get a substantial amount. I'm not against her getting something but the original pre-nupt was for $20 million after 10 years with an option for $5 million instantly. The rewrite negotiations were reported that she would get roughly $80 million if she stayed!!
She should take her $80 million and get ghost.

This chile needs to walk away and stay away. Go read the Toa Te Ching and call it a life. She does not need to stay with him for money, when she can leave and still get money if that's an issue for her. I know she can't stand his azz. I doubt that she will stay. If half was $750 million, would people still say it's too much? If this was Magic Johnson's or Easy E's wife would it still be too much? She probably is bitter and seeking revenge. She can use part of the $750 million to get counseling.

Dear OO, It's cheaper to make her disappear. Thanks, Cam msn.foxsports.com/golf/story/Tiger-Woods-Elin-Nordegren-divorce-talks-052110Divorce talks between Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren have gotten ugly, the New York Post reported Friday. Nordegren has ramped up her financial demands, requesting that Woods pony up an estimated $750 million, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. After starting out fairly civil, the divorce negotiations "have turned extremely testy," the newspaper reported. Nordegren also refuses to sign a lifetime "confidentiality clause" that would prevent her from writing a book or doing any interviews related to the collapse of the couple's marriage. She also wants full custody of their two kids, the newspaper reported, even though it was first believed that they were going to agree to joint custody. Nordegren has spent a lot of time away from her hubby in recent months. “Elin started to build her own life and once she did, she grew distant from him,” a source told RadarOnline earlier this month. She went to Arizona alone for nearly a week recently and took the kids to Sweden while Woods played golf. RadarOnline reported that Nordegren is currently renting a house about a mile away from the Florida home she once shared with Woods. The kids get to sleep over at Woods' house. “Elin wants to share custody, she wants Tiger to be a big part of the children’s lives,” the source said. “And both have done a great job trying to keep their problems away from the kids.” Woods, meanwhile, has thrown himself into golf after announcing earlier this week that he was adding the British Open to his summer schedule. Woods has a chance to become the first player in the 150-year history of the British Open to win three times at St. Andrews, where golf's oldest championship will be held July 15-18. Woods, who withdrew from the final round of The Players Championship on May 9 with a neck injury, also has the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach and the AT&T National at Aronimink in Newton Square, Pa., on his schedule. Excuse me I'm trying to find the right words...hmmm.
Byoatch Please!

Makes sense to me. <--- would be hatin on the lawyer if she/he is successful in getting that amount. Imagine their portion! LOL. You right tho. I also think people are confused about WHY she is getting the money (any amount). It's not because he cheated, it's because they are getting divorced. It's not like she's getting 3/4 of billion bucks because he cheated. I'm going to venture and say that many-most people who are having the "she doesn't deserve ish for him cheating" reaction have cheated on someone in the past. We view things differently when we've had certain experiences.
