I know you once said to me "This is exactly how it should feel when it's meant to be" Time is only wasting so why wait for eventually? If we gon' do something 'bout it We should do it right now

What a whore. She breaks up a good marriage and then gets knocked up by the low-life dude. I hope she doesn't expect child support.

I mean....there's a reason why this situation would be UNTHINKABLE. It's funny how society can de-sensitize to the point of normalizing.
I'm not judging, just saying that this right here ain't IDEAL.

not that it matters, but I don't think she NEEDS child support. lol You're right, she doesn't need child support but the child needs it. The notion that because a woman is rich, she should expect or be okay with being the sole provider for the child bothers me. Anyhoo, Who is the baby daddy? Diva- pointing out that something is wrong isn't judgement. I don't know where we got that from but really...

If this woman broke up a happy home then that was wrong.
Not sure of the situation, becauase I have been hearing various sides to the story. However, if he was still married and decided to step out on his wife, not a good look.

Yea, the child needs support, but it doesn't have to be financial. If I am more than financially able to care for my child, you can keep your money Just be the father you are suppose to be.

The problem with this logic is, at what point is the mother's (or custodial parent's) income deemed "enough?" There are too many folks running around thinking that the other parent "got it" and all they have to do is show up. I don't care if it Oprah had a baby. The father needs to man up and actually support the kids. We can say what we want to be PC, but people are more vested in things when it hits the pockets. Kids are not an exception.

Does anyone have the full edition of the story.
I just heard that Swizz separated from his wife and was dealing with Alicia.
Then I heard the wife got mad and put it out on the internet(s).
Now I hear they(Swizz and exwife) are divorced.
I am so confused. Please help. I can't search all the gossipy articles just to come up with the latest info.
What yall got?

I'm sorry, but if Oprah had a baby and tried to get FINANCIAL child support, she is stupid. plain and simple. A lot of women do the child support thing to be spiteful. Hell, give the man a chance to DO the right thing before you put the courts all in your business.

Hell, give the man a chance to DO the right thing before you put the courts all in your business. I didn't say go to the courts first but as a parent, financially supporting your child should not be an option. All that 'she or he spends time with the child" is some bull. At LEAST make sure you have clothing, diapers, food, etc for the child when you are together. Oprah would not be stupid, she would be a mother who is holding the father of her child responsible for his part. The court shouldn't HAVE to intervene. People have just become complacent with being irresponsible for their actions. It's not about the other parent, it's about the child. Some parents are spiteful but that doesn't mean you don't handle your responsiblity because the other person is a jerk.

I understand what you are saying, pep. It's just that people make "child support" a solely financial thing and it isn't. I'd rather you go get the things the child needs than give money. Money is so impersonal. It does not build relationships with the kids at all. Bring them diapers. Bring them formula. Mring them clothes. and as they get older continue to do so. Buy that basketball goal and let them help you put it up. Buy the new shoes and school clothes. Show up for the games and/or recitals. Don't turn your child into a check that comes once a month. You don't have to give me a dime, just support your child.

Selfish chicks try to do it "all" on their own. They aren't stupid. Just selfish.
