DEAD Two sisters at my church-- one AKA one Delta. Went to the same college, pledged the same semester and everything. They are ugly as sin and inseparable. I think they did it so they could tell each other their secrets.

I feel you. My sister will fight, so I'll need to look over her and that means she needs to keep it in house. I would prefer that my sister pledge something other than Zeta. I have always had to watch over her and of course she doesn't want me to, so I really don't need to see what she is doing and who she is doing it with. She is sorta wild.

I know of a family here in the city (great ladies all,) and THREE of them are in different orgs. The mother is Zeta, the older daughter is AKA and the youngest is Delta. Their brother is Omega.
Two friends that went to college with me (sisters) - One was initiated Delta the year after me. Her sister was initiated AKA the year after her. Their mother is AKA.
One of the old prominent families in the area...2nd and 3rd generation Normalites (AAMU grads,) Alpha and AKA through and through...except for ONE of the girls who is Delta. Their initiations span from the 40's through the early 70's.
In my chapter now - a frat from NY, his older brother and one of my boys from way back is Omega. Their late father was Alpha initiated at AAMU back in the 60's.

Hence my problem with legacies!! Just because the member is of the right stuff doesn't mean the relative is! My brother wants to be the Bruhz and just last week, I had to tell his sponsor that I couldn't support it. Needless to say, it killed that endorsement.

Hey Waymaker! Have you gone to the newbies thread in the Welcome forum? Of course I did! I remember some of the rules. I was on OO back in the day as an aspirant.

My fiance is a Kappa...his older brother is a Sigma...and his dad was a Que (he passed some years back)... I remember when my fiance was trying to decide between Kappa and Que. I told him to ultimately follow his heart, because he couldn't take whatever his decision would be back. He decided to go with his heart. I don't think he has any regrets... But I ALWAYS have said my daughter has NO choice - it's Delta or nothing! LOL I guess that's expected though. I won't disown her if she does anything else though (I don't think.)
