I am not sure if you all discussed this already because I do not frequent this section the days... but How would you feel if someone close to you maybe a non sibling, family member or friend, went through the process of joining your org yet never mention to you their interest? its called discretion.

How about people who pledge ANOTHER org than the one youre in (and they keep quiet about it)? How would you feel about that happening?
<---knows of a young man who pledged Alpha and didnt tell his father, who happens to be a Que The young man called his father with "Guess what? I pledged" His Dad: (silence, then:) "What did you pledge?" Young Man; "I pledged Alpha Phi Alpha Frater-" His Dad: (CLICK)
They didnt speak for weeks (until the father calmed down). That was over a year ago...peeps dont DARE bring it up

DANG... My cousin (only 1 of 2 that went Delta -everybody else is 1st Pham) has my little cousin shook. I'm afraid this might happen to her if she decides to follow the family line instead of her, *ahem* wayward mother. [Just jokes, DST...let's not get testy!] How about people who pledge ANOTHER org than the one youre in (and they keep quiet about it)? Great topic. In all honesty, sometimes Greeks are the ones who lack discretion. So I don't blame an aspirant/person going through a process for not saying anything. Afterall, isn't that what they've been taught? I have a story, but I won't even bother...maybe some other time.
If it were me (and I realize this wasn't a question posed to aspirants) there'd be a handful I'd tell (I can only think of 2-3 off the top of my head), and the rest would just know after the fact, unless of course they found out via other means.
