What's the verdict? I had a date planned...now I'm going by myself...
...if the reviews are good. *so excited*

Most of the online reviews I've read are good. I'm absolutely buzzing about it. Great premise, IMO

People are really overdoing the "gotcha twist" I was mad even before the twist was revealed.
A few thoughts...... *it was so gory, I thought I was watching a Tarantino movie *they really tried to develop the characters. I can see that a lot of thought went into that *Typical implausible plot leaps *It bothered me how some technological elements were very futuristic but most other things (the cars, homes, THE MALL) looked 10 or 15 years ago
I welcome other opinions. BF and I did not like it.

From the previews, it just didn't seem like something I would get in to.

WARNING: SPOILERS!!It was interesting. I'm still a little confused on where the chick with all of the parts came from. I know where he met her but what made them hook up? She was the same woman from I Am Legend. I'm not surprised at the ending though. Overall it was ok. Forest Whitaker can do no wrong in my eyes. Being brain sucks though...just pull the plug for me, lol. Movies like this never seem like a stretch. I don't know if I see the repo man thing happening but I can definitely see the organ thing. So many people need organs and there aren't enough organs to go around.

Okay, Bun I skipped your last post, b/c I was afraid of spoilers...
Haven't seen it yet, planning to go next wek (something came up the other day) Asked around, people seem to like it [but I work with a lot of guys]
I'll usually give movies like this a little license b/c action films don't usually carry great plots, too...we shall see.

Saw it tonight as a birthday treat. LOL I enjoyed it.
WARNING: The rest of this post contains MAJOR spoilers!
I like the ending, more because I was back & forth to the kitchen & forgot about the M.5 unit they kept talking about. It was a nice payoff, considering they mentioned the same piece of tech. 5 or 6 time throughout the film. Very Vanilla Sky wrap up to me (the ending).
The part where they repo'd themselves was SO hyper-sexual, I had to look away for a second.

...it looks like you are in the minority... LOL. The death of your movie crediblity occured when you became a Tropic Thunderite.
