Do you know the names of the chapters in your state/district/or area? How many can you list? And to make it easy, we'll stick to the college chapters. Let's see -- here in Alabama: Alpha Beta -- Talladega College Beta Upsilon -- Alabama State Gamma Kappa -- Miles College Gamma Phi -- Tuskegee University Delta Gamma -- Alabama A&M Epsilon Nu -- Stillman College Theta Delta -- Univ. of South Alabama Iota Nu -- Univ. of Alabama - Birmingham Kappa Alpha -- Univ. of Alabama Xi Beta -- Troy Univ Xi Xi -- Jacksonville State Omicron Kappa -- Auburn Univ Pi Delta -- Univ of West Alabama Rho Chi -- University of Alabama - Huntsville Cold, if I forgot one add it for me.

LOL @ Queen. Now king, if you hadn't been able to list those, I was gonna send a pigeon to Milwaukee to take a dump on your head! And all the schools are in the UW system. Just type UW and then add a different city behind it. LOL!

And strange enough, just spoke to a brother who was initiated there the other night at Michael Baisden's Million Mentors program at AAMU.

adisa,
I didn't know that Mu Beta was no longer intact. I met some of those UT Martin brothers a month or so after going over myself. And Theta Pi at Austin Peay? What happened to them? I have a brother in my chapter who was initiated there back in '83. Oh, Cold...I forgot also that there is new chapter at Samford/Birmingham Southern...Tau Iota or something like that. They were chartered about 5 years ago. Omicron Sigma was at Birmingham Southern 20 years ago. They had trouble keeping the numbers up.
As far as alumni chapters here in Alabama....ummm, let me see how many I can recall. There are like some 16-17 of them:
Omicron Lambda - Birmingham Alpha Nu Lambda - Tuskegee Alpha Upsilon Lambda - Montgomery Beta Omicron Lambda - Mobile Delta Theta Lambda - Huntsville Delta Pi Lambda - Selma Delta Phi Lambda - Tuscaloosa Epsilon Delta Lambda - Piedmont Theta Alpha Lambda - Gadsden Kappa Nu Lambda - Sheffield/Florence Mu Psi Lambda - Birmingham/Homewood Pi Epsilon Lambda - Auburn Rho Eta Lambda - Madison Rho Upsilon Lambda - Dothan (chartered in 2009)

In fact, I'm quite amazed at the number of alumni chapters across AlphaSouth in general. Not sure about the details surrounding Theta Pi and Mu Beta, but we brought them back officially in February 2009, complete with snow and ice up in Martin.

I would hope every greek knows the chapters of their org within their district. Interesting. I've been mulling this for a few days and I'm still where I was originally. I don't know all the area chapters and never placed any emphasis on learning them when I moved back. Maybe it's just the jade of nearly 20 years in....lol

Its hard to keep up wit who got snatched. As far as Alabama goes, those are the currently active chapters, with the exceptions of Gamma Phi at TU(....they were scheduled to return in '10) not sure if that's gonna transpire now or not with the intake moratorium, and Epsilon Delta Lambda in Piedmont. I don't think they are active at this current juncture.

My humble to all Greeks and GDIs with special needs. My comment was in poor taste and only meant to serve as the verbal jabs and hooks that Alphas and Kappas engage in from time to time. At any rate, I will now confine myself to the corner for the remainder of the day, and will further refrain from using your condition as a means to insult Kappas. Because, afterall, nobody wants to be compared to a Kappa in any way shape or form.
Thank you, and may God have mercy on us all.

Its about that time and chapters gettin put on cease and desist. Maybe none of the chapters you affiliate with have had that issue.
