I feel soooo sorry for his wife and kids. When these men starting spreading "joy" sanity respect, discretion and concern for others go right out the window. SMH!!

I agree with Sapphy....he should have just put it all on the line at one time.
Had he talked to the woman up front instead of trying to toss her to the wolves in an effort to distance himself from her...there may have been an amicable solution to this.

If he fessed up, it wasn't out of the kindness of his heart. Someone called him and said that they knew the truth, had proof and would be writing about it in a book. So he is probably trying to get out in front of the story.
She didn't have to ASK him to take a DNA test. She could just sue for child support and the courts would make him take the test. If he refused, then the courts would assume that he is the father and still charge him.
Taking both scenarios in mind, Edwards had to take the testt because how do you explain that, out of principle, you decided to just pay the child support?
Hell, Edwards is a multimillionaire! People would assume that he's guilty but stubborn to pay all that money without proof.
