Not putting anybody out there, but same deal goes for UG chapters, honestly. We all know folks who've been, umm..."held over" before. So, what Leja said. Not for nothing, grad chapters aren't bound by "winter break," etc. Could very well have started the end of 2009 and finish up next week or so. Just sayin... Okay, even with that being said, atleast Delta... dont cross in no damn Janjurary! If a soror told me crossed in Jan she would be immediately suspect! |

So just because it's 2010 and I'm in the mood :-) I have a question to the Greeks.
1) Is it possible to have the process you all know, love and speak of and still cross in Jan?
2) Do you automatically give a person more respect based on their crossing date? Meaning couldn't someone pledge all Nov and Dec and cross on Jan. 10 and another person could start line on March18 and cross on March 24 and you would assume the March 24 initiate pledged based on dates alone?
Just curious.

We have certain "legal" time frames for intake... they THINK this will cut down on the extra stuff...so even if you have been doing a little something something on the side everyone still crosses around the same time.... I am not sure about Fall lines, most of the chapters here in Houston cross in the Spring, so you find that most Deltas here, that crossed here, crossed in mid to late April... All the stores be out of pari around here at the same time! LOL |

Yes, it is possible. If the chapter can have intake when the want they can start it whenever they choose. I started in October and was initiated in January. No, I only respect those who respect me and themselves. For some members of my organization deference is out the wind.
