So... I am at work, and the other girl who works in my office just came back from maternity leave, and bought her newborn baby and her BADASS son... The son has been running up and down the stairs, and, most importantly, there is a pole RIGHT next to my desk... He has been climbing said pole, kicking over my things, and both the mom and the grandmom are here, and they think its cute.
No, whats cute is Im about to pop his ass.

We must work in the same damn place. My coworker is GOOD for doing that. She brings her kids (ages 5 and 2) here, and will drop them in someone's office, and go back to her desk and sit down. Meanwhile, they're bugging the heck out of you and tearing the office up. I even suggested one time that she bring some books, movies and snacks and put them in the conference room next door. She said, "That's a good idea"...and then didn't take any of the suggestions.
Some days, when there's no school, she'll bring them up here all day!

Tell the little boy to stop knocking over your things, plan and simple. And throw in there that if anything is broken, his momma, grandma, one of them will have to pay for it. Your things are there to help assist you do your job, not for his mere entertainment purposes. Bet that will get their attention and have them to tell him to stop.

(in the 90's)I had a coworker who let her then 8 yr old son act up everytime she brought him to work. Spoiled rotten, talking back, the usual M.O. Why did another coworker SPANK HIM and said "Momma dont play that" while his mother JUST SAT THERE and watched!
1/2 of my office was glad that the boy got spanked, the other 1/4 felt that was beyond the boundaries and the other 1/4 cussed out the mother for letting someone ELSE do her job/put their hands on her child...

people don't want to be responsible for their kids anymore. They let them run all over the stores, stand in the way of everyone, holler and scream, knock stuff over etc. And you know as soon as they fall and hurt themselves the parent is gonna be mad at everyone else. I see it all the time and it pisses me off. Kids are great and a blessing but there are plenty that need the fear in them, lol.

Peeps let their kids run around the laundromat, sit inside the laundry carts like theyre bumper cars, and act the ass while theyre on the cell phone!!! this is why I try to go to the laundromat during school hours or late @ night...although Ive been @ the laundromat 1AM and kids are STILL up & running around like they pop NO DOZ!!!

LOL at Bland! I bet he stopped though.
Black, white, and hispanic are the ones I see. I rarely see Asian kids acting a fool. We were in Macy's one day and these little hispanic kids were EVERYWHERE. They were spread out in the shoes, clothes and purses just hollering and screaming and running around. Finally one of the workers said something but by that time I was heading to another section until they left. I could not deal with it, lol

I have been the one to cause a ruckus playing with my son in the laundry mat.
We get a super bouncy ball (the ones that are a little bigger than a golf ball) and throw it and chase it all over the laundry mat. No one but us and one person where there at the time
I usually trip up kids that are running around and I jack up kids that are related to me.

::DEAD:: @ Soror Prissy!!! I remember doing that when I was about 4. We were at the neighbors and I there was a baby there. I remember thinking the baby was really ugly, so I pinched it really hard. The baby screamed and everyone was looking at me. I acted like I didn't know why that baby was screaming. Why do I feel bad about that to this day?
