everyone hates deb LOL...did u know her and dexter are married in real life...creepy i know
the episode before last was SOOO disappointing...being that the 3rd seasons sucked major ass im really hoping this season rebounded
i think deb will live (unfortunatley)...but i think lundy is gone
im not quite sure why dexter chose the cop and not stalking trinty the whole time...its aganist his MO

I like LaGuerta & the Spanish dude together. She was acting mad pathetic last season over Jimmy Smits' character (which he played the HELL out of-he did get an Emmy nomination for it)
One of the things I like about DEXTER is how he has to "overthink" if he should show emotion or not,lol. I think someone died last season & Dexter thought to himself "I GUESS I should hug them & say it will be alright,or something like that" LOL

Jimmy Smits did do a very good job...I didn't realize he won was nominated for it. Then again I just started watching it.
Deb is better to me this season but much better than Rita all the time. Rita is just too much for me, lol.

I LOVED Jimmy Smits on Dexter. That whole end of the season stressed me out. I didn't realize got nominated. But he did a great job.
I hate Deb. She's too wacky and emotional and immature. Rita bothers me too. I hoped they wouldn't get married. Alas...

I finally caught up! Wow! I never woulda thought Trinity Killer was a family man. It was like Thanksgiving when he walked up in that spot. Deb is so stupid. And yes Honeyripper Rita is a whiny mess. The whole time she sat on the bed talking about not keeping secrets I was thinking he lies because you're all up in every aspect of his life. He tried to tell her about keeping the house before they got married and she wouldn't have it. Shut up and sit down somewhere Rita. |

LOL!! i couldnt stand rita from the jump...im like damn she got demanding...and now shes carrying that damn baby everywhere...im like damn harrison is out kicking it more than anyone on the show i wasnt surprised trinity had a family....hes just like dexter it was funny seeing harry's helping dexter....i cracked up when i saw his ghost ass sitting on the computer looking at the video speaking of the video....i hope its not still at that office building  |

I thought the same thing about Harrison, LOL! She takes him every doggone place she goes. Poor thing...probably gets no sleep.
I can't wait to see how the Trinity Killer story plays out.
I'm totally surprised that Trinity Killer is a family man...he seems really lonely and creepy. But when you look at Dexter I guess it's not that hard to believe.

It'll be interesting to see if Dexter long search for kinship plays out in the impending cat and mouse dance with Trinity. His brother didn't straddle both worlds and though Jimmy Smits took a hit and got addicted, neither seemed as similar to Dex as the Trinity. The thing that separates is Trinity's victims seem truly innocent and random. I don't think Dexter will be able to overlook that MAJOR code violation.
And y'all are right, Rita actually trumps Deb on the irritating scale. I thought Deb had set a bar that could not be surpassed but Rita is a champion level nag.

I just started watching this show this season. When I first heard about the show I assumed he was killing serial killers as vigilante justice. I didn't realize that he has serial killer urges, that is kind of creepy. I will watch some more, but I am not sure I am sold on this show.
I know that Harry was Dexter's adopted father, but was he a serial killer too? What code did he teach Dexter?

His Dad was a cop who recognized Dexter's killer urges and taught him how to murder without getting caught.

I am so hoping that those samples are in the locked chest in the locked shed with the rest of his wares. I don't see how he kept them there all this time anyway. Wouldn't his condo maintenance have access to the joint and maybe want to take a look at it one day? I would have found a loose floorboard or something.
