a letter to Dr. W. E. Burghardt DuBois,20 one of the day's most

with white people and if we can train the Negro doctor at the clinic, he
can go among them with enthusiasm and ... knowledge, which ... will have
far-reaching results among the colored people.37



Another project director lamented:

Our experience causes us to doubt their ability to work except under

Based on surface level research, it's basis seems to be Psalms 127. At face value, the quiverful(l) movement appears legitimate, but after serious invasive study, I believe its theological basis is wrong, but if they want to follow Psalms 127, THEIR WAY, they must also consider the normal breast feeding times of women in Israel, which was 3-4 years. During this time, pregnancy is very rare (i.e. this was their natural birth control). I would say most people today wait until they are about 24-35 before they start having children. So the most children they would have if they kept having children would be about 8. Now if we also look at this movement on the basis of no sex before marriage, no out-of-wedlock births, etc. this would not amount to a whole bunch of kids. My point is that if everybody followed the biblical model, there would be a whole bunch of children that wouldn't be....

So on the Quiverfull's basis of using this scripture for its movement, I must disagree. When searching stats for this, I found some very alarming things, but that's for another topic, another day.

Hence, my reason for quoting David Duke. If the Klan had placed abortion clinics in mostly black neighborhoods TODAY, I don't think most blacks would say a word.
