I'm still watching but Private Practice is much better.
Sometimes I want to ask "why is Meredith still here?" LOL I think like Derrick less and less with each show.

Haven't seen last night's Grey's episode but I agree with you that PP is a better show. Last night's episode was intense. I need Bailey to have her own show.

Noooo, most of the time when a great supporting character gets his/her own show, he/she becomes less of a factor and somebody else get the good lines.. Remember what happened to Florence when she got her own show? She lost her spunk. |

The daughter was a clueless baby having a baby for a clueless grand father. It sent Little Grey off to sleep with Izzy's" love sick still pining behind her" husband. Give me a break.  |

Season after season I keep waiting on something to happen to make me like Meredith and 6 years in it still hasn't happened. They have lil Grey.....they can't just write her out? ? Who'd have thought that Korev and Yang would do the right thing..... |

EXACTLY Bun! With Lil Grey, we could lose Meredith and the name of the show would still work.
Derrick's going to end up resigning and giving the Chief his job back. He's just not cut out for it.

This feels like standard pre-contract negotiation posturing but it gives me hope......
Could another integral “Grey’s” star be on her way out? In two years, it’s possible, Ellen Pompeo said.
The actress has been playing Meredith Grey since 2005, and Pompeo isn’t sure how many more plot twists Dr. Grey can get into.
“When my contract is up after season eight, I would probably not renew,” she told Extra in an interview; the show is currently in its 6th season. “I think I’ve told all the stories that I can tell as Meredith Grey.”
But that doesn't mean the show will definitely have to soldier on without its main voiceover; Pompeo said anything could happen. “Who knows, never say never to anything, but I’ve told a lot of Meredith Grey stories, and I don’t know how much more Meredith Grey the world wants.”
The show will end this season without Dr. Izzie Stevens, since Katherine Heigl already took her leave from the medical drama earlier this year, but that's about all we know - Pompeo didn't reveal anything new. “You know ‘Grey’s’ finales,” she said. “Anything that can happen will happen and everything that could happen will happen…I’ll just say that.”
