lol...yes chal you stopped me....in a meaningless game for me, you stopped me...fighting for your playoff life (& apparently still having to do so) you stopped me...I had 2 players put up doughnuts & I was a frank gore season ending injury away from an amazing come back(cuz he was gonna shred AZ's D for at least 25 points)...but you stopped me. You can say that.  question is....can you say....will you be able to say..."i'm in the playoffs"....? I can. But hey, at least you beat me right? *smirk* |

it just wouldn't be right for you to graciously accept defeat, huh? lol ok, Aces. You wanna play? Let's play. I stepped into this thing totally unaware. I will admit that 90% of EVERYTHING I've done in this FFLeague has been the result of luck and guessing games. Was I expecting to make it to the playoffs? Honey, up until a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't have told you what a playoff was. So maybe I won't be able to say that. But you know what I CAN say? I can say that I, wait, let me get a little louder... I, Chal (owner of the Mphs Challionaires), am responsible for the 1 in Aces' L column. I, Chal (without my "best player," i might add) put an official end to Aces' winning streak (Shout outs to Ghost and the tie game). And I, Chal (who may or may not make it to the playoffs), am totally, utterly, and completely satisfied with that .   |

Aces, you're not out of the woods yet, because the playoffs last 2 weeks each round.
I thought it was a wrap for me though. I thought I was going into next week down by 40 or so. I even sent Cold a message bashing my players lol.
I guess Houston read my message at halftime because Schaub and Johnson went into beast mode for me in the fourth. I couldn't believe they ended up with that many points.
I was already pissed that the same steeler D that I traded to Cold for Andre Johnson was about to be my demise. I was starting to look like Larry Harris for real.

Aces story is disappointing...but I saw it coming. It always seems to happen: teams dominates the regular season, come playoff time said team comes out flat.
I swear the 3rd or 4th seeded playoff team always wins the league...lol

I know that sometimes the best players get shut down by their coaches this time of year (in some cases) if they have a playoff spot clinched and have nothing more to gain. The championship round was interesting last year because i had to scramble to fit players into my lineup that were actually playing. The first year I played, we had a yahoo league, and I led the league in scoring and didn't even make the playoffs. The ups and downs keep me playing though. |

I'm in an interesting situation...I'm behind right now in my Yahoo league, but I have Adrian Peterson and Green-Ellis remaining. If they have good games, I win. However, if they have good games, I'll probably lose in this league because Alc has those same players LOL. So I'm pretty much expecting to win in one of the leagues and lose in the other.

Congrats to Ghost on 2nd Place. Both of you got hot at the right time. I'll be back next year though.
Aces, I hate that we had to meet in the loser's bracket. But I know I'll run into you again.
Hopefully we can have another league next year.
