Why am I tripping. I will be GLUED to the screen. and if you have HBOGo, you can watch the first TWO episodes on this Sunday night! But then it would be two weeks until episode 3  |

Nope...my sister won't sign up for HBOGo, so I've just resigned myself to waiting for the premiere next week, and then episode 2 the week after. *sigh* The whole fairy thing...even the glimpses of that last season were corny. That's one area where I wish they would have stayed more true to the book. But er uh...there are some other things from the book that I hope happen in these first couple of episodes....so we'll see. I <3 the innanets...found all 6 minutes of the preview on youtube. Yeah...the fairy thing is definitely kind of lame, but now I'm curious to see where they're taking that storyline (vs. what it is in the books). They've been deviating more and more from the books each season, and I get the feeling this is the one where they'll go almost completely off script, so to speak.

I need to watch the episode ONE more time.. I watched it twice last night (well around 12 or 1 this morning) and I"m at a loss for words or feelings.... I will gather some good thoughts and post..

I've never really liked the witch angle...I thought it was corny in the books (though it did bring about the whole Eric storyline that I enjoyed and they seem to be including in the show)....we'll see how it plays out on screen.
I've always loved Pam, but I wasn't feeling whatever they were trying to do w/ her lipstick at the end...it was sooooo far past her lip it was ridiculous lol
I'm still bugging at Jessica becoming this sex pot...she was such a sheltered, corny 16 year old when we first met her.
And I don't think I've said it this season yet...but I LOVE ME SOME LAFAYETTE!!! lol

I haven't read the books but I'm really curious to see where this witch storyline is going.

Can I just say how much I am loving this season. LOVE the shifts in personality in Bill and Eric! What the hayle was up with Jason's dream and what the double hayle is up with Lafayette's hair? Is the man situation so desperate that chicks are saying "I don't care if we're related. We aren't having kids anyway so what's the big deal?" SMDH |

Lafayette's hair....that needs its own thread! lol That Kris Kross look was NOT the business, but I don't know if anything will be worse than that jheri curl faux hawk he had in the first episode! Lettie Mae and the right reverend getting rid of Rene's ghost......GTFOOH!!! "The devil jumped up and ran out the door"....for real? ? LMAO! Espiritismo was readily absorbed into and adapted to pre-existing belief systems. Espiritismo has absorbed various practices from other religious and spiritual practices endemic to Latin America and the Caribbean, like, Curanderismo, Santeria, and Vodou to name a few. |

It actually isn't a bad show. I didnt care for the show either...until I was snowed in on a Saturday and decided to see what the hype was about.
I didnt care for Dexter, Nip/Nuck, Entourage until i sat down and watch em. They turn out to be decent shows to occupy one's time.
