I was gonna try to see if Sojourner Truth wanted to get down with Z Phi B but I gotta see if the Alfers'll let me hold their spirit medium or whatever I believe adding Sojourner would greatly improve Z Phi B. More power to the pussies! who in da hayle left the...  |

I disagree on two points. #1 Lawsuits are not what caused pledging to go away and the irony is they increased exponentially after 1990. Simply put it wasn't illegal to stand in line, wear the same clothes, do calisthenics, etc etc etc until after 1990 when the NPHC gave lawyers the guidelines to litigate against. Can't totally blame the lawsuits on the kids. #2 This statement below "I will say without a doubt that there is a measurable and despicable criminal element within my very own Omega Psi Phi; an element in direct contradiction to everything my founders Oscar James Cooper, Frank Coleman, Edgar Amos Love and Dr. Ernest Everett Just championed." Is untrue. Inside the frat maybe harsh but criminal element? Oh so Ques robbing banks and stealing purses as a rites of passage or keeping it real? Just because we party hard and get at the ladies don't make us criminals. Then same bruhs like this dude may cheat on his wife then say "Well I'm just human" fuck outta hea with that bullchit. He cited hypocrites in his passage and we deal with hypocrites quite harshly. The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. was founded to enrich the SOCIAL and (emphasis on AND) INTELLECTUAL aspects of college life for BLACK MEN. He put it out there in the public so he gets checked in public..... I know Im late...but VP...he may be right...recently quite a few bruhz have been in trouble with the law...the dude from Chicago who (at this point) allegedly killed that Nets player's ex and the kid is a Bruh. Another murder in PG, a bruh. And these are only the two of many who I can rattle off the top of my head. I know quite a few bruhs who are RIGHT NOW leaning on the shield/Coleman with Bruhs and Sorors who are attorneys...thats not to say that other orgs are not in trouble but it is what it is...and when you put a certain "idea" about yourself out there, you get what you get. It's a hard pill to swallow. |
