That ninja is a damn COON. Hell NO. Just my opinion of him though. Carry On Yep...just your opinion. We can't all raid the NBA, NFL and MLB rosters. Carry on. Yeah and we can't all get dudes who think its their place to say we need new leadership when he hasn't been groomed to be a leader.. The same mofo who was a weak ass man and ADMITTED he was taught manhood by his middle aged GAY Black Landlord. Miss me with that bullchit. The niggah is a clown and let this be a lesson when you stretch your arms for perceived status on paper. Any bruh that was in the MLB, NBA or NFL wanted to be bruhs before and sought Omega. We don't recruit. Shaq and Chris Jackson wanted to be bruhs while at LSU but Dale Brown wouldn't let them. Vince Carter wanted to get down with Shammond Williams while at UNC and again Dean Smith blocked that and I met the brother at Daytona Beach BCR BEFORE he was in the NBA with Shammond. Steve Harvey's line had "issues" while at Kent State. Like every MAN you see who is a bruh in the sports world are but finishing either what they started or for other reasons what they were not allowed to do. Again Omega doesn't recruit and we are not a status club. So Lets take Shaq's philanthropic work and put it up against Kevin Powell's. I dare you do that. lol Not saying a man can't change his ways but if you yourself have a checkered past... You need to Shut the fuck up and work your own magic. Period.

I guess I just don't see the big deal in asking the question - I asked about Michelle Obama one time to the AKAs and no one blew up. An Alpha asked today if Steve McNair was a Que. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Kappa that posted the story about the Tollhouse pledge process. If it was the presentation of the question he already apologized - so I don't see why we can't ask the question - is it true. I dont think it was the question itself but apparently there is some unspoken rule on OOA that if your not in a particular org then you arent allowed to mention/speculate/ or question anything, even if it is public information....which is the dumbest bunch of shyt Ive ever heard in my life. Its ok to post stepshow clips or other stuff but let it be something important, or heavens be to baby jesus, something remotely negative...its Christmas in July in here. Naturally, a member of the org isnt going to post it, and as someone said (Cam, I think), its good to know what other folks are dealing with so you can *drumroll please* discuss like adults and perhaps *cymbals clash* avoid the mistake in the future or *tamberine* get some insight into whats going on in our orgs...b/c plz believe these arent isolated org occurrences. Some are far better at discretion than others. Im just letting yall know now, right here, right now on this 9th day of July at 4:44pm EST..... that if I hear something and want an answer....Im asking. If I see an interesting post, Im posting it. And guess what, everyone will GTF over it. I agree that there is a right and wrong way to carry things...no doubt...but people get all up in arms if someone of another org says ANYTHING. ROFL @ all the male panties in a bunch in this thread. FINALLY, not the sister greeks. ;D At the highlighted. I don't think that most folks would be upset at discussing public information regarding their organization; even if it is negative; depending upon how the information is asked. This thread and the FOTWI threads were started by drive by posters. That was not cool. If you are a regular part of OOA, that is one thing but to just drop in and leave some negative information makes people question your motivation, and rightly so. I for one don't have a problem talking about issues in my org, not everyone feels that way and that is their prerogative. But I will not respond kindly to some foolishness that is meant to be disrespectful. What I gathered from Aces and Blu is that they didn't have a problem discussing this, even if it was only to say no comment until an official announcement is made. They just took issue with how the information was given. At the end of the day, we all face a lot of the same issues regardless of our affiliation. None of us are immune to bad press, poor decisions by members in our organizations, and/or high profile honorary membership invitations that cause some discussion. When that type of information hits the public airwaves, we should be able to talk about it. But folks need to understand that if you approach it wrong, you may get the e-smackdown.

How do you know it was a drive by poster? In OOA land, its more likely that it was an alter...probably Denounced, to be honest. Does it really matter who the poster is? A question is a question. As for the FOTWI thread, all she did was post a link. She didnt even say anything and she used to be active on OO, at least I remember seeing her post more then. She got bombarded for just posting a link so I dont think everyone shares the same sentiment re: questions about others orgs. Same happened to Fatal when she posted about Sheryl Underwood and there was nothing malicious about her post at all. She was congratulating ZPB. And she certainly isnt a driveby poster. So I dont believe approach has that much to do with it, even though thats what people are claiming now just because it sounds good (not directed at you).

The first time we talked about the Que with mitties - it was funny. The 2nd time it came up - it wasn't funny at all to me.
Conversely I thought Sheryl Underwood's election was interesting. But Fatal damn near got pistol whipped for mentioning something that was TOLD to her. It's like there's no rhyme or reason to it. If Bill Clinton and Al Sharpton became Masons could we comment on that or would we also have to wait for the Masons to approve it?
I get what everybody's position - but here's my main point. When the Que with the mitties was posted, it wasn't posted in any tactful way - it was posted in a hee hee ha ha way. I'm cool with Aces, he's good people - but seriously - this thread wasn't started anymore sideways than others that have come before it.

I think the difference is when its social stuff i.e. pix, chants, vids....its ok b.c its PRESUMED to be a joke. But if its org business, then its ASSUMED to be malicious. To me it seems like our priorities are all messed up. Not commenting rather than reaming someone out seems like the more appropriate response to me. I get the "approach" concept too, however, like you said there is no rhyme or reason and we have proof positive examples of it.

Im still stuck on the FOTWI...my Soror posted a link that she said she received elsewhere...she was lambasted. People accused her of being malicious...I didnt see how that could even be construed as malicious. Now, THIS original thread? Now, I can see how this could be construed as being malicious. Im just trying to figure out what the rules are but in my estimation we are just making them up as we go along...which I suppose is cool too.

I'm going to defend the Omega mittes post. Cause I posted it. It wasn't really to dis Omegas it was just funny. If he wasn't wearing nalia or threwing up the hooks I would have posted it on the general talk board. Plus his chest hair was growing in omega formation. It was funny to you. But it was the 2nd time it was posted.
Do you all remember when the Crazy SGRho video was posted
alot of us thought it was hilarious - did the SGRhos? I mean it's happened to EVERY orgDames I didnt get the joke in the vid

I guess I see your point. But in defense, the Que with the mitties knew he was going to be clowned...he obviously wanted to be clowned. You can't get upset, he achieved his goal. I will speak for me. If the FOTWI information had been posted by a regular poster, I wouldn't have been upset. The situation is a learning opportunity for all of us, so as long as it wasn't done with malice or in an attempt to ridicule us, I wouldn't have been upset. Whether or not he wanted to be clowned is beside the point (and at best that's speculation). The point is how WE deal with it here. For my part, I deal with you thusly:
*SMITE* Im sure he thought that joint was owt.... I was embarrassed for yall....
