Everyone's not going to like you. That's life. Not sure how large this chapter is but every member gets a vote, not just one or two. If you don't apply because of potential personality conflicts with a couple of ladies, I'd conclude that you're half hearted in your intentions anyway. Either man up or keep it moving.

This is good advice to keep in mind in general for LIFE. Life is hard, and NOTHING comes without struggle and sacrifice. Everybody in your chosen career field is not going to like you. My good friend is catching heyell in her church as we speak. So I agree with DSTurbia--it's time to develop a thick skin, go after your goals and don't let what people think about you dissuade you from acheiving what you want. |

First of all hello everyone! I have a question. I'm interested in trying to be apart of xyz and always have. However, I think two ladies in the chapter at my school do not like me. I don't know why because I'm really kept to myself. One girl never liked me and always whispered about me. I showed up to an event to support xyz and they reached out and befriended me, being extremely nice (more than they were to the other girls there). However the president just stopped speaking to me immediately after that and gives me these stern looks, and the girl that never liked me smiles in my face and talks about me whenever she gets the chance....now my question is do I still have a chance or should I wait till graduate school? For ladies in a D9 sorority, do you think their behavior is indicating that I shouldn't even try? Please give me some advice! Thank you! Is this real or a joke? If real, I see why they dont like you! Did you post in the intro thread? How fucking rude.. you kneegrows always want something for nothing! NO! You dont have a chance!  |

I'm just going to reply to everyone because I'm not sure how to reply or if i could reply to separate people. First, I'm really sorry if I offended anyone that was not my intentions...And to fatal I don't know anything about an intro thread I just posted it....for everyone who have mean things to say... I appreciate your honesty, but at the same time yall are going a little hard.....I never posted anything before so I don't how you guys do things....I just had a honest question and I'm anonymous so why not ask? So for everyone who wants to put me down and insult me even though I showing you guys respect....the best I can do and pray for you guys....and for the people who really answered, I appreciate it......
