I know some Greeks have a no-dating Greek rule. If your one of them why?
If you dated a Greek from a certain school, can you date another from the same school. Should you date Greeks from same organization? The same chapter? Linebrothers/Linesisters?
What's a no go. Whats good for take off?
Any stories?

Good one. I've dated more than one person in the same chapter, but the chapter was 100+ people, so...idk
I won't date more than one person on a line or in a small chapter (or from the same UG chapter) because I RE-FUSE to acquire the label of having been "ran through by Chi Sigma" or whatever.
I imagine this gets really real in Blue & White. I've been on a Sigma diet since 2007.

I wouldn't date line sisters or two Sorors who were really close. But if its a megachapter with 200+ people, I'm not going to necessarily say I shouldn't date more than one member of that chapter.

I always put limitations on dating Sorors from my yard when I was in undergrad. I witnessed too many negative side effects that created bad blood....

I don't put any restrictions on myself. However, I had a Zeta friend who refused to date any Sigmas. She said it was incest.

I say date who you want. In the days of yesteryear, many Sigmas married Zetas and are still married today. I am married to an Alpha. My line sister is married to an Alpha. I think the younger generation puts too much emphasis on things that don't matter and not enough on things that do.[/b]

Won't win me fans but I had a "no Que" rule. I had some bad experiences in UG with them and formed a bias. Current BF is the only one I've ever dated. I didn't know he was a Que until our second date and by then i was smitten. It's interesting how things turn out.

I had a no que rule too.. we had an incident in my UG chapter where a like 2 bruhs had gone thru several of the chapter members! LOL
I messed when 1 since I crossed, it wasnt so bad though... he wasnt a real owt bruh, and when he did kick it, he was kinda quite and mellow

I wouldnt date LBs. In UG, one per chapter. Now, eh...the same rule applies as if they are non-greek. No close friends. In greekdom there is 3 degrees of separation so if you limit yourself to someone who knows someone....why bother? Ive dated a dude that my LS dated but that was 10 years prior. I asked her before accepting a date with him and she was cool with it. Plus shes married now.
Ive dated everything but a Sigma and Iota. I prefer Ques and Alphas. I also prefer greek over non-greek.
