Lol at Dallas and the Suns winning less games in the playoffs this year than the Atlanta Hawks.
I would include the Nuggets but i'm not surprised. They did have to play the Lakers.

Cuban said he needs a coach who can bring him a championship.
Nah nigga, you need PLAYERS that can bring you a championship, not a buch of soft, creamy, church league players who think that defense is outscoring your opponents.
Over the past couple of seasons, Avery got those dudes to actually play somewhat respectable defense, as compared to prior coaches.
I think they should have kept Devin Harris. At least he could have stayed in front of Chris Paul.
I'm sure Josh Howard is somewhere right now rollin one.

Chris Paul is the truth. I'm still not sure that NO can beat the Spurs in a series...I don't expect Duncan to have another subpar game.

Yeah...Timmay will definitely bounce back...yet and still if N.O can grab game 2 at home, they're poised to take the series.
Game 1 was HUGE for N.O. but not fatal to San Antonio... if the Hornets lost game 1, I would've written them off. They have by no means locked it up for the series, but as a young team with no real playoff experience, that was BIG for them.
Game 2 is even bigger.

Yeah he's probably not gonna be that bad two games in a row. But I wonder how he'll hold up after the tug o war with Shaq/Amare, and now with the Hornets coming at him fast and furiously. On top of that sooner or later, he's gonna have to guard West, cause Oberto/Thomas/Horry/Finley ain't gonna get the job done.

the sorry azz Spurs (yeah i said it) look mighty pedestrian playing the Hornets. this looks like LA-San Antonio circa 2001. Paul is runnin circles around these dudes.
I was worried about LA having to play the Spurs, but right now I'd rather have the Spurs. The Hornets are causing problems.

The Hornets wouldn't necessarily be able to do that against the Jazz or the Lakers. But I'm not worried about the Spurs at all, they'll make adjusments and beat the hornets

Mo Pete is the X-factor.... some nights he gives you nothing, zilch, nada, cheerio, gooseegg.......... and then other nights he gives you the hustle plays and key buckets

it's amazing how Paul has made some of those players better. Where did West come from? and Tyson Chandler was borderline garbage in Chicago (that could have been due to Eddy Curry). Mo Pete was a role player in Toronto, who started by default.
Hats off to Byron Scott. He got screwed by Jason Kidd in NJ. Now the Nets suck, Kidd demanded a trade, got to the Mavericks and couldn't fit in. And then they got run out of the gym by who? Scott's Hornets. Now kid can go fishin with his big-head-assed son.

David West has been a baller for the last 3 years... he just now is getting some props. TC sucks, but he's 7'1 and can jump out the gym.

So the Hornets don't even need Jazz game film...lol Secondly, don't get me wrong, the Spurs are the defending champs, but they got smacked pretty good the last 2 games. THEY BETTER WIN GAME 3 OR ITS NIGHTY NIGHT!!!! JayEasy's predictions... Hornets win the series in 6. Lakers win the series in 5 Lakers beat the Hornets in 7 by a Kobe fade away with .02 seconds left.

If im the spurs, I foul the hell out of Paul. As soon as he enters the game, foul him. He drives, send him into the stands. All that driving he is doing is just silly.

Tony Parker outplayed him last night. I really think the Hornets need to win the next game. If it goes back to NO 2-2, I think the Spurs can find a way to pull out game 5.

I don't like the Hornets chances anymore. You have to kill the Spurs while they are down, and the Hornets didn't.

there's so much parity in the West. And once again, as stated before, Utah's success at home is uncanny. i gotta give them credit. But it's on when we get back to Staples.
