Sapphy talks more trash than a little bit.
@ Lister- I've always wanted to play fantasy baseball, but it just seems like a lot to keep up with, even though I know baseball well.

This is just a forewarning so it won't seem like vodou is cheating. Watch out for Drake, Butler, and if South Alabama gets in its gonna be trouble trouble. George Mason of course as well

Alch, i can be a lot of work but not as much as you think. It only takes a few mins to set your lineup up...select which pitchers your gonna start. It only gets to a lot of work if you go in deep with it. In the paids league i'll pay more attention to career batter avg against a certain pitcher, career avg in a certain ballpark, etc etc. I only do that cause...well its paid.lol

Man Fantasy baseball would be cool but it definitely is a lot of work. Shoot...fantasy basketball can be a bit much depending on your league. If anyone wants to set it up I'm down.
@vp. Butler isn't sneaking up on anyone...like Gonzaga most people who are reall CB fans know about them. Drake is definite a team not to be slept on. While GM is a sexy pick they may win one game(no surprise) but no final 4 for them. They don't have the horses like that did on their run 2 years ago. South Alabama has put together a nice program the last few years and have been a sleeper team. Look out for Western Kentucky and teams like Clemson and VTech can be tricky if they get in due to the Defense they play. They are also on hot streaks. This tournament is wide open so the seeds and matchups are going to be more key than any other year.

Oh yeah what the heck is up with Georgia handling business not once but twice in one day and going to the SEC finals after only winning 4 games in the league. You could conceiveably have Kentucky not make the tournament due to their bad losses even thought hey won 12 games in the SEC and Georgia make it in by winning the tournament. Crazy!! You gotta love Tennessee losing to Arkansas. Another clue Tennessee is not ready for Prime time. Oh yeah watch out of Vanderbilt...they shoot the lights out as a team and defend their butts off. If they get hot they could go to the elite 8.

VP we agree on both counts. How the heck didn't Vtech get in. The committee is smoking that good green for real. I think since the NCAA bought the NIT they purposely keep teams out to make the NIT more attractive to watch and to fill seats at the arena with teams that travel well and were on the bubble. Just a thought.

i was watching the selection show, and saw that Syracuse got left out, but two other teams with pretty much the exact same records, conference records, and and a worse RPI got in. I thought it was interesting that they pointed that out.

VTech didn't deserve to get in.... you don't get in for almost beating the a #1 seed.... hell for that you could put Oklahoma State in as they beat Kansas, and almost beat Texas.....
Beasley and the Mildcats are slumping late in the season. I'm sticking with OJ Mayo and the Trojans....
it hurts my heart to pick Oklahoma to win.....
I'm kinda torn on my UCLA/Texas A&M second round game... UCLA has not impressed me, and A&M has some big bodies that can give the Bruins a good game

Troopa I'm on the bandwagon (been my second fave bball team since Rex Walters/Jacque Vaughn) , but they always let me down.... I was there in person when PP and LaFrentz lost to Rhode Island, and then when Bucknell (and their 4 fans) shocked the world....

Bigs look at some of the other at large teams and there RPI and SOS and compare them to Vtech and Syracuse while looking at the leagues they play in and tell me they should be there. Its a joke but what can you do it happens every year. I think they got it right with the 'Cuse and they are my team but VTech got jobbed for real. I posted my theory in my last post. Its all about squeezing dough out of the NCAAs and NIT. Greed at its finest. LOL

No.... VT got the luck of the easier ACC Schedule and the ACC name.......
to be honest their resume looks a lot like Oklahoma State.....
outside of the conference tourney.... they played the ACC powerhouses 1nce.... Duke, NC
their OOC schedule was atrocious (excluding Butler/Gonzaga)...
their quality win... was Miami.
their resume is worse than Oklahoma State..... and we damn sure didn't deserve to get in....
hmmm....
OOC ... Pitt, Illinois, Marquette, Oral Roberts..... then 4 games against Texas/Kansas, nevermind the 7 vs Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas A&M, K-State

Kansas will lose to Vanderbilt in the last minutes of the game. Vandy will then go on get thrashed and manhandled by Wisconsin who ran USC/KState.

* * * *UPSET OF THE TOURNEY* * * *
After kicking the shit out of Arkansas and squeeking by George Mason in a fluke, The 'Heels will lose to Tennessee in overtime. THEN TENNESSEE will go on to get ROUTED by the Badgers.
Badgers play Memphis for the 'ship.

LOL Okay here is what I think. The sleeper teams are South Alabama, Baylor (if the three is falling) , and Drake. All those teams can shoot and they have athletes who can hit the glass. George Mason not a sleeper but they will do well. My Upsets in the first round are
KSTATE vs USC- Micheal Beasley period. He will score 40. He average like 27 a game anyway. He can shoot the three and post up.
UGA vs Xavier- this is fucked up that Xavier got an SEC team at 14 seed. Xavier would've been good in the tourney down the stretch. They will lose to UGA in a close one.
MASON vs ND- I think GM will blow ND out. They are strong on the glass and have some good shooters
Villanova-Clemson- I don't know why but I think Nova gonna take this one
San Diego-UCONN- Yup Morgan St shouldve beat UCONN seriously. San Diego will beat UCONN handedly
Surprise game that will be close.... GTOWN-UMBC. Them retrievers can SHOOT! but will come up short
