Do you like Whoopi as the moderator? Did you prefer Meredith? Rosie?
Do you like Elisabeth? Preferred Lisa?
What is your take on Sherrie?

I actually used to really like The View until Rosie O'Donnell got on there. After that I was just like whatever. She was too controversial. Now I have less respect for the show because they even let her on in the first place. I also liked when Merideth was on there, and now that she's gone I don't care too much for it either.

Oh, and I really don't like the way that Sherrie is almost like a Star replacement. I mean, why the black one gotta be big?

I do not like the way Sherrie is portraying herself as less than intelligent. That is unacceptable.

Sherri is interesting...she has her moments where she's so on point, and others where I just wish she wouldn't open her mouth.

I wish Whoopi would be a little more engaging. I think she is holding back a little too much.

I hated Rosie on the show...I knew from the moment they announced she was coming that I would hate it.
I can't stand Elisabeth...I think she's naive and brainwashed, and refuses to even consider another perspective. And I hate that they try to baby her...like no one's allowed to criticize her views.

Rosie was that shot of energy that they needed. The View was in the decline with ratings, and she really provided a more "controversial" view. I thought that she pushed the envelope, even with the most trivial issues...i.e Donald Trump.

Elisabeth want to try hard to push her view, which is fine. I just do not agree with most of her ultra conservative opinions.

I just thought Rosie was too overpowering. I said it before she started, and it came to pass...it went from The View to Rosie's show. Rosie was that shot of energy that they needed. The View was in the decline with ratings, and she really provided a more "controversial" view. I thought that she pushed the envelope, even with the most trivial issues...i.e Donald Trump.

It was only meant to be a "temporarily" fix to the show. Everyone knew, that she was overpowering, and will make it the Rosie Show, but that was the risk that Babs wanted to take. Next, they got Whoopi who has takened things down a few notches, and it seems to be getting back on track as The View.

Yeah...I can stand to watch it again.
Cause between Rosie and how that whole situation with Star went down, I completely stopped watching it

Starr did alot of damage by herself. All of that talk about Al and the Wedding was a mistake. And, Starr admitted that was a mistake. The whole weight loss issue was less than a issue for the show, because everyone could see that in a short time Starr lost a tremendous of weight, which is code for "special surgery".

yeah...but my issue was the way they got rid of her...because she said on air that she was leaving 2 days before you planned to say it on air?? so suddenly she's gone effective immediately?? that was ugly

She knew that her time was up, and decided it was time to let the viewers know, before Babs placed the spin on the situation. However, I am wondering how bad did that hurt her career. I know that she has the Court TV show again, but did she fall out of favor in the Entertainment Industry, due to the falling out with Babs? Babs is very influential.

I didn't know you can watch it online. I like it with the current people. I didn't like Star once the weigh started coming off. Elizabeth does get on my nerves at times. I do appreciate the fact that everyone is so different and is strong in their opinions.

I thought that she pushed the envelope, even with the most trivial issues...i.e Donald Trump. I don't know Southie...you can be a shot of energy without it being negative. She was so negative all the time! It just drained the energy out of the show.

Yes, she did get petty and the continuous rants got tiring and old. However, at the beginning she energized the panel with her strong views on: The War, The Economy, Gay/Lesbian issues, and pop culture. People wanted to hear what will she say next? Then, it became more combative versus informative which is why it was definately time for her to move on. Her work on the View was over.

OMG...and what REALLY bothered me about Rosie was how she would step up and try to give the "black" response to things...as if being gay qualifies her to speak on the experience of another minority group.
THAT pissed me off beyond belief!

O.k. apparently Whoopi was slighted at the Oscar's when they did a montage of past host and today the Associate producer contacts Whoopi to apologize and states that it was an oversight. What really happened?

The montage was supposed to be of great Oscar moments not really great hosts moments. But all the host were included except Whoppi and Steve Martin. And she had some great Oscar moments so she should have been included.

<<now how do you overlook Whoopi? I mean really.

It's the Oscars, Southie. They said that this year's telecast was the lowest rated since the 40s. YAY!
Anyhoo, of all the black women they interviewed, the chose Sherri "I'm too busy feeding my child to worry if the earth is round or flat" Shepard!
WOW! White Hollywood at its best (worst).
Sheryl Lee Ralph and Jacque Reid would have been much better. Even Shaun Robinson (I don't remember if she auditioned or not). They are beautiful and intelligent and personable. I guess having attractive black women next to plain white ones was too much for them.

When Sherri was guest hosting, she appeared to be more level headed verus the bimbo persona that she is putting on now. I do not understand it.

Elisabeth is so wack!!! ARGH! She is sooooo biased. I swear she gets her talking points from Fox News. I used to feel sorry for her when Rosie was on the show, but now I wish Rosie was there to beat up on her.

Even when they busted her out for being wrong about Obama going to Iraq, she wouldn't admit it, apologize, or anything. She just sat there all pissy.

I realize that Elisabeth is short sighted and has a very limited view on life in general. I think she grew up in small town USA, did Survivor and then got the job on The View. Her exposure to various groups, cultures, etc shows in her comments. Everybody has their opinion, and its o.k to support the candidate of her choice, but do not lose sight of facts.

Her exposure to various groups, cultures, etc shows in her comments. Everybody has their opinion, and its o.k to support the candidate of her choice, but do not lose sight of facts. I think what irks me so much about Elizabeth is that she is like so many privileged white women I have had the unpleasant experience of dealing with during my stint in Corporate America. They have had a good life, so yeah, they love America. They get jobs that they are not qualified for (like hosting The View), they whine when things don't go their way, and they tend to be pretty mouthy until they come across someone who puts them in their place....then they fall into the victim role without effort. These women never take the time to think about what it would be like to walk in the shoes of someone else, someone who had life handed to them on a plastic sp00n, rather than the silver sp00n that they have grown accustomed to. They can never understand why that person is not perfectly content, after all, America is the greatest country in the land. These type of women only worry when they can no longer fit into a size 2, but even then, no worries, off to the plastic surgeon they go. Plastic, shallow, judgemental, and smug...I can't stand their type!! But then, maybe I am just bitter, there seems to be a lot of that going around...
