I'll root for any SEC team except for Auburn. Because the SEC's success against other conferences actually DOES help 'Bama indirectly. Bama will get the benefit of the doubt in the polls and things like that over other conferences, if the SEC is perceived to be tougher than those other conferences. It doesn't matter now because they haven't won enough...lol. But it definitely helped LSU this year and Florida last year. They got the benefit of the doubt because of the past success of the SEC.

Those bowls are always SEC vs. Big 11 match-ups, and considering their history vs. the SEC, they might do well to reconsider.

ACC basketball fans don't have many recent accomplishments. What have they won? UNC won a title a few years ago. Other than that, they haven't won jack.
