That was my initial question, and I live in the Ch!
Activities would be spread about the various parks and stadiums in both the city and the Northern suburbs.

They build facilities for the Olympic games (which is why they plan the games so far in advance). Alls Chi-town needs is space! ;D

That is why I mentioned the various parks that are in the city such as: Washington Park (on the southside) and Lincoln Park (on the northside)
Then you have the various Chicago Sports Stadiums
Some of the Equestrian(sp), and other outside sports would probably be held up north in Deerfield, Schaumburg, Lake Forest.

Well with a $491.5+ million budget, I sure hope the USOC has enough money to throw around.
However, the Chi's problems will be much like the NYC's bid. The challenges inlcludes: traffic congestion, security issues, and massive contruction. I figured their proposed budget will be in the $3.2 billion dollar range. Its a reach...
I wonder if they're gonna bring softball back into the games if it come to the US...

the traffic is unbearable during the Taste so I know Olympic traffic would be at a standstill
