His lawyers are idiots to REALLY believe that R'uh is gonna get off and NOT go to jail.

I hope he goes to jail for a long time. I have a 13 year old daughter and frankly I can't understand why he is still alive. I know my husband and I would both be fighting each other for the opportunity to pull the trigger first.

R'ruh is a textbook case of how the wrong kind of father figures and examples of male relatives can influence a person during their childhood and literally screw them up for the rest of their lives.
He was raised around older male relatives who also flirted with young females. He was basically raised around this. I'm not saying that what he's doing is right, but after seeing this all of his life and considering the fact that his wife/ex-wife was young when they met and married, I honestly would not be surprised at him not thinking that he's doing anything wrong. If all the male figures in his life showed him that this is what men look for in the opposite sex, then unfortunately he was convinced, trained, and groomed to chase after young girls, deeming them as the only females attractive.
Human sexuality is a very complicated thing and unfortunately, interactions, behaviors, perceptions of attraction, desire, and lust are mainly formed during the early stages of human development. I wouldn't be surprised if he is a product and victim of poor male examples.

The girl in the tape was humiliated, probably threatened, teased and punished for being the evil temptress and seductress. I heard several grown men and women criticizing her, but buying and dancing to R'ruh (the Pide Piper of RnB- ya'll know the Pide Piper lead the town's children to their death...). So, imagine why she would deny it- even her parents did (that is why they don't speak to Sparkle). It's sad that we further abuse our children.

The thing is people don't seem to care, as long as he's putting out hot beats. I have a friend who doesn't like him but loves Jay-Z so she supported the Best of Both Worlds concerts. All these artists keep putting him on his remixes. It's like we've given him a pass. I'm all for innocent until proven guilty, but I hope that when he's actually proven guilty in court folks start to change.

I'mma put it like this, R'ruh ain't done nothing that the same artists we "know" and love: Diana Ross/Berry Gordy/Smokey Robinson, James Brown/Tammi Terrell/David Ruffin (hell, the whole damn Motown crew) and MOST others haven't been doing. They just didn't videotape themselves! 
They are ALL a mess! That's why I say like the art, but the people, leave in the garbage because a great majority aren't worth a damn as people.
