Okay the first item of business is Community Service. As you know we just held a successful baby shower drive and had two very successful events in conjunction with Black History Month. Now that we've settled into our new e-home on OOA I think we should get a little more e-active again.
Any thoughts you have on e-community service projects are welcome.

Why not have an OO Meet Greet and Complete.
Basically we can have a huge ball type party. An after 5 event. Basically we sell tickets and the tickets prices will go to 2 homeless shelters in town.
We can have an auction......keep it clean (lol) and the highest bidders will go on date with us on a yacht and just have a good time.
Those proceeds will go to the elementary, middle and high school. To increase the music programs.

I want to revisit the idea of a financial seminar. With the e-seniors on campus graduating and heading into the e-real world, I think it will be a great way to prepare them for the financial challenges they'll face.

I was thinking we could bring in e-Suze Orman, e-Robert Kiyosaki...folks like that.
And from our e-campus, we could have some of the e-finance professors participate, as well as the Young Investors e-club.

Sounds great. I've made a note for the minutes and will encourage all e-sorors to participate. Based on the other thread, we'll definitely need LadyL to get on board. LOL.
The next item on the agenda is the State of the Sisterhood. As you know we got a little off track with the crash of our beloved OO. While our e-sisterhood, e-love and e-respect for eachother is strong, it would be helpful to have everyone reconfirm their e-leadership positions so we can get organized. I believe we still need an e-chapter president and may need to select another membership chair, as e-soror Bklyn doesn't post much.
