I don't know why the words to this song popped into my head last night...I was in the seventh grade when this song was out, so the meaning was lost on me. But now, I'm like..."That's kinda deep!" ;D There was an old lady sitting under a tree...she called me over and she said to me...my days left here may not be long...I wouldn't waste my time tellin' you nothing wrong. But love is a flower, needs the sun and the rain...a little bit of pleasure's worth a whole lot of pain. If you learn this secret, how to forgive, a longer and a better life you'll live". Anybody remember that?

No.
I love "Time Will Will Reveal" by Blackstreet! I can never listen to that song without crying!
I also love "Without You" by Mariah Carey and "When you Believe" by Mariah and Whitney on the Prince of Egypt Sdtk.
There are a million songs like that that move me.
I would love to dance to "Soul Eyes" by John Coltrane at my dream New Orleans style wedding!

I think the "What's Going On" album should be re-released due to relevance. Marvin Gaye was the man.
"What's Going On" "What's Happening Brother" "Mercy, Mercy Me" "Inner City Blues (Makes Me Wanna Holla)" "God Is Love"
That album was prophetic!

Oh, here's another one (it's playing right now): Robin Thicke's "Can You Believe". That song has been my theme song for 2007/2008.
