Why? What more can be said? This is really becoming ridiculous.

I think this one will be very contentious.
Hillary went on the attack after the last one. I think she did it because she came off as almost conceding at the last one. There was one point in the last debate where Obama was talking and Hillary was looking at him in awe. She looked like she was thinking "wow, I wish I had voted for you in the NY primary".
I think that Obama will call her on the dirty tricks she has played in the past few weeks. I can't wait to watch...

If they are not going to discuss in great detail their plans for specific issues, then the name calling, and other poor taste politics is a waste of time.

Anybody watching??? Hillary just bitched (no offense ladies, couldn't find a better word) about having to answer the questions first. LMAO! That was NOT a good look.

Cold--keep me updated. I am busy doing something else, and I can't watch--but give me some running commentary.

They talked for the first 16 minutes about health care. They are talking about NAFTA now.

she bombed...I'm sure the majority of America does NOT watch Saturday Night Live, so WHY would she reference it?
Again she got booed...who is feeding her those lines? they suck? Is she like killing at the Comedy Store in her own mind or something?

To bring back something Cold was saying, for a candidate to talk about how tough she is - it is amusing/amazing to see her crying about having to answers questions first. I mean for real?
Is that going to be her modus operandi if president? Claim that everyone is out to get them and against them (the Clintons)?
I don't think that dog hunts anymore. She's used it forever against Conservatives, and then I think she had a point. Now she doesn't. It's just her default "go to" when backed into a corner. If you're gonna fight, fight - don't complain about the other candidate.
p.s. Hillary - whoever is writing you comedy material, and whoever is vetting it and saying that it played well in your focus groups...
...fire them. Fire them now and see to it that they never work again. They are KILLING you, and you are killing yourself listening to them.

I did not see the debate, so how did both sides do? Did they talk about specific issues with real answers or just give more generalizations?

I saw part of it... it seemed like more of the same honestly. I'm getting bored with it. Obama needs to win Texas and Ohio so Clinton can bow out, and we can move on to something new.

Even if Obama wins both states, I do not think that Clinton will bow out. I think she will take this fight all the way to the convention.

On the MSNBC ananlysis after the show, Rev. Jesse Jackson pointed out that the issues most closely affecting Ohio--the forclosure crisis, poverty-- were not discussed.
Brian Williams and Tim Russert were the moderators. They did ask about Minister Farrakhan's endorsement of Obama. They dropped the ball on asking about the issues, though.

Yeah and Russert asked a hypothetical about Iraq. Hillary dismissed it as such, but Barack actually answered it. Then when he was done and time for a commercial break, she wanted to jump in and give an answer..."But your question was about invading Iraq!!!...mumble mumble mumble, criticize criticize." They went into break.
She has to have the last word, and then when you get the opportunity and are shown up, then you want to answer the question. You missed the train babe, too late.

This is one of the #1 reasons why I originally was behind John Edwards. IMO, he was the ONLY person hitting on these issues. But from what I understand, this message doesn't resonate with a lot of people, because a lot of people don't consider themselves to be "in poverty" or "poor", even though they earn below the poverty level. Brian Williams and Tim Russert were the moderators. They did ask about Minister Farrakhan's endorsement of Obama. They dropped the ball on asking about the issues, though. I'm surprised he endorsed Obama. He said in the past about a Black president, "I'm past getting excited about a Black man heading up a White reality" or something along those lines.

On the one hand, I'm excited that another one of our old vanguards is supporting Obama, but I do wish he would have just done it quietly not only because he's so inflammatory, but because "Muslim" is now associated with "terrorist" and that could hurt Obama in the Independent/right-leaning, but left-looking/craka category.
