I think it's relatively safe to say she was acting off of raw emotions and she had the girlfriend with her egging her own...willing to drive/ride with her and off course help her kick in the door...not sayin it was smart but? plus I am sure the guy shooting her was no more intentional than her being able to forsee that she may get shot even if she lent a serious ear to being precautious, I bet getting shot by him never crossed her mind...and when he went to pull the gun I bet he never considered for a moment that it was his ex he was shooting at... I agree. None of the parties involved could have anticipated that this would end so tragically and senselessly. That is why it is so important to try to keep our emotions in check and be careful of who we lean on. Someone needs to have sense enough to say, "I know you are mad/hurting/whatever, but this is not the way and he is really not worth it." We can't help how we feel, but we can help how we react to what we feel, IMHO.

Yall are making it seem like HE'S wrong! Lol, they were BROKEN UP! She Entered his house ILLEGALLY, and with NO OTHER Reason but to cause him harm. What was she going to do? Give him a present? No, she was going there to Cause him PHYSICAL harm, and she got what she SHOULD've gotten. Anybody who breaks into somebodys house at 5:00am, Needs to be Shot.

These reports are always fishy and one sided....
Were they exes? Were they still dating? Was he messing with both of them? Who knows. It's unfortunate that a young woman lost her life over making a bad decision (be it, supporting a friend involved in a messy RELATIONSHIP--key word).
It's even more unfortunate that people think this type violence is justifiable. If it were the cops who busted in his house and he sprayed them....his azz would be either dead or locked up and the cops would be free (see thread re: NY cop shooting).

This bill codifies that premise and may go quite a bit further. You now have no duty to retreat in the use of force (even deadly force) in the defense of self or others, the defense of habitation, and the defense of property other than habitation. In addition to being immune from prosecution, you are also immune from civil liability for the use of such force.Of course the police would've used a Better Strategy in Retrieveing a Suspect, in which HE WASNT.

I didnt read the link. Im also not licensed in Georgia. HOWEVER, I am familiar with the self defense statutes.... there are exceptions. And like I said, if they were cops, his azz would be locked up. You you think just b/c something is written as a law means that its force and effect is absolute then you are sadly mistaken. NON-ATTORNEY NUPEY!

What is he involved in that his gut reaction is to pump twice and squeeze? Even still....(based on your other posts and your distaste for women in many respects), you make it seem like in some way they "got what they deserved" b/c they were shot and the girl died. (just what it seems to me).....like, "Now broads, stop being messy".... I, for one, can think of few situations where someone DESERVES to die. But that's just me.

She should not have been over there uninvited at 5:00 a.m., whether or not he was her ex. I think I said that earlier. Either way, the tragedy that occurred as a result of her bad decision was not worth it, since he was with someone else when it occurred. Whether they were presently dating or no longer dating doesn't really matter. He'd made his choice...at least, for the moment. He was obviously not expecting her if he was in bed with another woman. If for no other reason, it wasn't worth all this drama. After all was said and done, she lost her friend, but what has she gained?

Hon, they did not BREAK into his house....they were let in by his brother. How do you know she was going to cause him physical harm? You dont know that. Do we know she even knew another chick was in there? Im not justifying confronting someone in their home at 5 am BUT we dont know what happened? Did they have a run in earlier? Did he threaten her and she threaten to get Ray Ray and dem to run up in his house? Is that why he had the gun? Did she and the girl get into it earlier? Maybe she had a run in with the chick who was like, "Yea AND Im F'g yo' man?! WHAT?" Maybe she was after the chick. How belligerent could they have been acting if the brother let them in? Did the brother tell them another chick was there? If they were really exes, wouldnt the brother know? And if he knew, why would he let them in if his brother had lil mama in bed? Was he telling her one thing and everyone else another..... I could go on and on. All Im saying is that article is not enough to jump to the conclusion that someone deserved to be shot. That's some really callous stuff to suggest.

A part of me is thinking this ain't real because of the way it sounds. But if infact that it is true and real then my heart goes out to the family of the young lady and to the young man and his family as well cause I feel that he is about to go through it.
I believe the ex gf bought her friend over there to whoop the other girl's (in the bed) behind....like one of those "yea girl she sleeping with my man to" type of deals.
<-----wonders how the friend of the ex gf feels right about now.
sidenote: riffle/shotgun laws are different than hand gun laws in Ga.

Yeah, boosting your girl to go do something like this isn't good. But she might not have even boostd her up...the ex could have already decided she was gonna do this.
Either way busting doors down is not wise. My friend did this is UG and I had to go in and get her when I saw him come outside in the winter with only shorts and a leather coat. I knew something wasn't right. Years later I found out all of the details about that night.
But I'm not about to be fighting or getting hurt cause my friend wanted to pull some crazy woman shyt, lol.
