 Thanks for coming so quickly. I asked you here for two reasons. The first was so we could finish our conversation from earlier. Like I said, I don't want to disrupt your life. I just felt that you needed to understand why I left so abruptly and why I came back so unexpectedly. |

Yes I did get tired of the back and forth but a man will only do what you allow him to do. Spring and I both allowed you to play games w/ our lives. But that was not the reason I left. I had to leave for his sake.

He was in danger here. And I couldn't allow him to get hurt b/c of our foolishness. The easiest way to protect him was to leave. I know it was extreme but, I just couldn't...

Are you serious??? Cold, maybe I should refresh your memory. You left me to go back to Spring while I was pregnant. I went to the hospital and from what you were told "lost the baby." Well, Joshua didn't die during delivery. I told you, but you wouldn't listen, that Spring paid the doctor to have "accident" during the delivery. Praise God, my obgyn is my half brother Randall. So...to keep Joshua and I safe, he came up with the story that the baby died and that I would leave Hazerville shortly thereafter.

Yes...I'm sorry and I know you may think ill of me but I had to protect my child. He was my number one priority. He wasn't safe here.
I came back because he needs his father in his life. He's such a smart little boy. Or little man I should say. I've given him everything a child could ever want but I know he needs to be around his father.
I know this is a lot to put on you, but I couldn't have him here in Hazerville, so close to you, and not give you a chance to decide if you want to be in his life.

This is alot to take in at once. I was shocked when I saw you, my ex back in town. Imagine how I feel now that I see you here with my son! You know that children are important to me. Don't feel insulted...but finding out I have a son after more than a year, I think I'd feel better about it after a paternity test. If he's indeed mine then I definitely want to be involved in his life. So why don't we set up a test, and while we wait on the results I can discuss all of this with my new wife.

I completely agree. Just let me know what time you are available and we can do it. And by all means, bring your new wife. I'd feel more comfortable if she's involved. I think that will keep confusion down. And it may reassure you both that I'm not here to insert myself in your lives.
