That's wild! well I don't know where your from (the south) but round here we don't have lines of 20+. It defeats the purpose of having a brotherhood. It's so sad to just have enourmous lines cross. It's like was there even any selection or voting ? It's like being greek has become sort of a numbers race sometimes. Theres practically no way you will know all your lb-s/ls-s/co-iniatates/sandz/ships/etc if you have 30 ppl going through the process with you. More members = More Money, but at the same time you are sacrificing the fraternal bond. 10 crossed at one chapter, and 5 at another. I crossed with 4 others making it 5 for us. |

Some organizations(maybe all?) are trying to hit membership targets. But i agree with everything you said, especially about the bond. When its 15 people in a state, you know who isn't a XYZ and who is. |

I saw Nupey's thread, and while I find that sort of narcissism "whatever", seeing how many people found photos to put themselves on it lets you know Nupey's thread only brought to surface what people already feel about themselves.
