I am wanting to pledge the honorable sorority of Delta Sigma Theta Inc. I have been researching what was in my heart and for some reason this is the sorority I really want to join. But I have a major problem because the sorority is not at my campus and I almost cried when I found this out. I know I should have looked into this before I came but I wanted to attend this school. I honestly wish they could just bring a chapter here but it seems as if noone is intersted but me which really does not concern me because I know in my heart this is what I want to do. Can anyone help me? should I just transfer because of this problem or stay where i am and just never be a wonderful, intellegent, beautiful member of Delta Sigma Theta.

Start off by telling us your name, major and what school you attend. I'm sure the resident Deltas will be more than happy to help you in your quest....especially FatalDestination. ;D LOL

i really don't advise transferring schools just to join an organization. it's in in your heart, as long as it's ticking, you'll be able to attempt to join the organization.

Okay. I am going to cause some rawkus just because its Friday and because I can.
People always use the cliche, " The Org was in my heart"....what in the heck are you talking about. I can see...I was drawn to said org, They piqued my interest, or I admired them and wanted to be a part but "The Org was in my heart"? I'm calling BS until someone explains that one to me. My kids are in my heart, my wife is in my heart, my family and close friends are in my heart, Jesus is in my heart....and org? Naw playa....Some will be offended but I'm sure there will be those that see what I am saying. We say some real interesting stuff that I don't think we really understand so I will put it out there...when people say this what are you REALLY saying?

no can help you unless you tell us the school and your name. there could be some other Deltas near your school that can assist you in getting a chapter started on that campus.  |

I saw it Search...and I agree as far as aspirants are concerned. I always look at aspirants funny when they tell me they love the org, and its in their hearts. I think its more of a fascination than it is "love." Now as a member, I can say that my org is in my heart. I love many of my Brothers, as if they were my blood brothers.
