Yep, I found out Stan Verrett was frat a few months ago. I knew about Stan Verrett. If you go to Beta Chapter's website, there is a pic of his line on there. Everytime I see him at the ESPN desk now, I laugh because i think about the pic of him on line making the "face" that we all made at some point and time on line.

Hello Skee-Phi people.
I just wanted to drop in to say that Sessyivy is continuing the fine legacy of Allllpha Kappa Alllpha of the servicing of the mankind. Particularly this weekend. Just an outstanding job of mankind serving to the fullest....
Thanks again!

I am so glad to hear that! Out here the K's lost their mind, stepping in pink boots looking like Homo thugs. I was PISSSSSED! I was like should I bring a pressing comb and high heels next year? They had the nerve to let another group beat us at our own game (hair was swinging, cute outfits, heels, flawless makeup)...Times are a changing.
However, the ALPHAS brought it! I was sooooooooooo proud! SKEEEEE- Phi!
Sis, between the yelling at and for the K's and cheering for Frat, I lost my voice as well.

Funny thing is, is that CALI K's generally fit the (well dressed, fly hairstyles, primped and pampered) stereotype to a tee...We definitely have it going on. However, my LS and I were talking about the show, and although we were disappointed we concluded that frankly "we weren't going to step". Perhaps the more rough and tumble K's wanted to take on the task this time, thus the look. I guess I am stuck on tradition. We just typically don't do the dude-like gear and boots in a step show or stroll off regardless of the theme. I don't know, Sister Soror, I am starting to see changes EVERYWHERE. I have seen pink boots and fatigue's at a probate, ugh. At any rate, I was annoyed.
