The OOA of old would have had the Rae Lewis Thorton story as breaking news days ago. My how things have changed. I want to scream at the top of my lungs. I really need to install some punching bags...probably the speed bags to start since the other joints are probably too much right now. As soon as I move out... Pours out some liquor for the old OO, in particularly the Greek section. The old OO woulda posted the thread, someone would have gotten angry and told the poster to stay in their lane... there woulda been some heated discussion and then someone finally would have addressed the topic and the thread and discussion would have flourished. Dah well. *pops in it's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday and starts rocking back and forth* You forgot to add the 3 page thread hi-jack, then someone coming in and answering the original question, thus putting us back on topic. |

I'm finding that more and more people are willing to give up making decisions and will take on the opinion of others without thinking for themselves. This whole "don't rock the boat" mentality can be used to my advantage

Mother's Day was wonderful...all of my brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and our significant others were all in one place for the first time ever. I think it had been 10 years or so since all of my siblings were together. There is nothing in life as important or as great as family.

i know that feeling, Cold. I can't wait until the next time I'm with ALL of my brothers and sister, ALL of our parents, ALL of their spouses/SOs, ALL of their kids, and ALL of their grandchildren.
For two reasons, actually. 1, I miss the heck out of them an I wish we could ALL get together more. 2. We're talking 80+ "kids" here. Being around all of them at once is THE BEST form of BIRTH CONTROL EVER!!!!!!
