So, you mail in your app and your transcripts are sent, but the apps weren't due for another two weeks.
HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR MIND OFF THE WAITING? LOL!

I would work on upcoming ideas for community service and new discussion topics for the chapter to engage in.

VP, so hostile!!!
In Delta you have to mail in your app, esp if its grad...some even provide a "post marked by" deadline...Sometimes they have drop off spots, times if its undergrad.

I did not know that the applicant is the one that mails in the information. In Zeta, that does not occur.

Basically, cause I didn't mail in my application, turned in my packet at the interest mtg. For grad, if I remember correctly, you give your packet to the member who is sponsering you.
Quite interesting indeed, the mailing in, that is.

Same goes for Alpha. Your application packet MUST be postmarked by a particular date. I guess I'm LOLing because folks are actin' so "new" about aspirants mailing their applications, recommendations, essays, resumes, MONEY in the executive offices.

Errr, uhhhh, Rob, as you see for the other sororities that is new info. Our aspirants on any level doesn't mail in any of their stuff to the executive offices. The chapter the interest is pursuing for membership gets that information and it goes through the proper channels. So in essence, that info is INDEED brand new (all though your sweeping generalizations aren't ). Just goes to show the different procedures for each org. @ 91', you're right, your org is the only one to have founders who are listed members of another sorority. You left yourself open for that one

Seems as if the ladies cleared the issue up but I'll reiterate it for Omega. In Omega NO ASPIRANT mails anything off. Ever. If anybody with any sense will think about that for a second. What type of protocol is that? Where are your checks and balances? Piss Poor Preparation. Promotes.. nevermind...

In most cases, all rec letters and scripts have to be sealed.. sometimes, the scripts have to be received directly from the school. Sometimes they will make drops spots available, but who has time to coordinate and sit and wait on 300 packets...

I'm generally in agreement with the notion that aspirants should not mail off their own packets and since I haven't been involved in the intake process since going back to school, I must be out of the loop. From what I remember, all apps must flow through the district and from there...they go to the headquarters. Having said that, there have been some recent changes that I have not taken the liberty to read.

Uh oh.
*Whispers to Fatal, I think that was another aspirant with OES in her name. Based on what you and 91 said we'll just assume she wants to be down with y'all. I've got the sprang 2011 thread all ready*
*Whispers to OESLady, er um. Slow your roll. This ain't SH. Making Vudu angry is not what chu want. If you know that you sent in your stuff early there's nothing you can do but wait... be glad you're not scrambling and call it a day*
*runs out of thread, pleased that at least there's some chit chat going on in here*

So just because some scrub lied to you he was down with the bruhz and you gave sum cut to thats true? I think you've been exposed so now you wanna lie. Every woman on this forum who are in orgs other than Delta have stated otherwise. Further as late as ur um... Fall 2010 I know for a fact NO Aspirant of Omega mails his stuff in chick. Now take your lame skating ass back over to SH. Atleast we know you absolutely do NOT have set tonight nor yesterday or tomorrow... skater. lol THIS is what the fuck is wrong with our orgs. Somebody blackball this chick something fast please. I'm sure someone knows who she is ole #indiscretelookinazzniggah.

You slay me, so I'll continue to laugh at you, as well as anyone else who aims to prove themselves ignorant. As well as what's wrong with ors, it would have to be those who pledge and then can't produce a dues card to save their lives, but protest that they love their orgs because they let yet another person with low self esteem and no sense of public worth, slap them in the face with a book of lies. Lol. You're funny to me. Not because you don't know what you're talking about, but because it's obvious that you are nothing to no one in your real life.

@ Fatal, I was saying executives in response to what Rob said. So I guess the mailing in of transcripts of stuff, that part is for grad, right?
Reason I ask is because when I was in UG, I went and got a sealed copy of my transcripts, and everything else asked for, put it all in one packet, and turned it in to the Dean and ADP at the Interest meeting. Same for grad., you get all your info in to your sponser and they turn it in to the chapter.
It's interesting though because I just assumed all BGLOs did the same.
OES, ya'll done ran this girl away!
*shakes fist*
Oh well, another one bites the dust.
