Waka is not the first, second or third non Greek person throwing up someone's sign while taking a picture with members. Folks know dayum well he's not an Alpha. I'd like to see the conversation between the members and the celebrity when they tell them not to throw up their sign when taking pictures, LOL. Pretty much. |

I know I’m late to this party, but I do have a couple thoughts. What I don’t know:I don’t know if Waka, not knowing anything about BGLO culture, assumed everyone was just putting up the universal “Shaka” sign as a cool gesture (that everyone from surfers, rappers, actors, athletes, gangs, to Pres. Obama throws up) and decided to do the same thing when he posed. Only an Alpha can truly throw up the “Phi” or the “Ice”, but Waka has thrown up the “Shaka” on his own even in other pictures:  I also don’t know if these Bros even focused in on what dude was doing with his hand while they were all posing for the flick. Accordingly, I don’t know if this picture was taken by someone who wasn’t Frat and just posted up without these Brothers getting a chance to view it first (and actually see how wild the picture looks) But here’s what I do know:If these Bros knew about dude throwing up the sign, still took the pic, and/or still posted it up themselves after having seen the picture, then that is straight up LAME. They need to be rounded up by their old heads, taken behind closed doors, and “set straight” so they can do better. That is all. |

An Alpha said (on FB): "clearly this is not the case, waka just thinks its ok to throw up the ICE when hes in a pic with Alphas...he did the same thing when we performed with him at the ESPY' after party, and we took pics backstage...which is why we DIDNT post the pic, out of respect for the frat... WTF?! I responded: "Waka just likes to throw up the Ice when he's with Alpha's" <screeching brake sound> Wait, wait, wait, waaaait....so he's NOT a honorary member?  Annnnnd.... nobody reprimanded him? ? ...damn, I can't believe members of the D9 won't throw it up with paid, inducted "paper" members but will throw it up with a non (and in my opinion a nonworthy) member??? #WakaFakIsUpWitDat??? I agree with this completely!!! That is a doggone shame and a hot stinking mess. So if some paid their, in some cases, 1.000 dollars, passed all sanctioned tests, and completed the sanctioned process, you can't show them any love? You will give it this HS dropout though. Sad sack. |
