So I was on the phone with my baby momma( my bbf) talking about her recent trip to DC for Thanksgiving. She goes on to tell me about this guy she met a club. She was all starry-eyed when she told me this story About this guy who she later went out to dinner with. They arrived at this restaurant at like 7:30p and left the place at like 12a. They had one of those talk all night conversations. anyways she was describing him 6'3 Engineer Nice car Nice house Working on Masters Gentleman Great Personality but there's one thing He's a Sigma that's the face she made.( well that what she sounded like we were on the phone) So I chimed in like that 's what you get for stereotyping people and shit. Now your next baby daddy about to be a Sigma. She seems to be head of heels for him. So well see how it works out. It's going to be a long distance thing. So I'll keep you updated and stop by the Blue & White Room to find out where to by those "my daddy's a Sigma" onsies from. But the whole point of the story of this is Don't stereotype people by their Greek affiliation or etc. Cause I HATE DAT shit!!!! Poodles, GLAM

Poodles, GLAMOK, the order of listing his attributes indicates immaturity (but then y'all are early 20's). The comment on Greek affiliation is just the icing on the childish cake. Is her rap sheet similar?

Material attributes at the top, substantive attributes at the bottom

Material attributes at the top, substantive attributes at the bottom No. I take blame for that. That's just how I wrote it. I was going off the stuff I could remember.

We all have preferences, so... ROTFL!!!!!!!!!!!! I used to in college. Grown now, affilation or lack ther of means nothing now. It's all about the person as an individual.

Grown has nothing to do with it, and you most certainly do still have preferences at this stage in your life. Org affiliation is just not one of them anymore.

LOL!!! I agree we all have/had preferences but in the long run it doesn't matter if everything else falls through. If I dated in my age range tho, in alot of situations a guy's greek org is a deciding factor. For instance, I'm at a club, a nice looking brotha walks up to me and initiates "get digits sequence"....Later during the "get to know ya" convo I find out he's under 25 ..... I'm now listening for 2 things....institute attended and organizational ties. I try to keep an open mind but I will admit, a guy under 25 that says he is a Que, Sigma, or (shame on me) Mason will get a slight hesitance in my approach. Lawd don't let him be Both Mason and Que/Sigma!!! Jeebus!!!! The sigma thing is actually only if I'm in New Orleans. Sorry L, but your brothers down here are WILD (most of them are my brothers too...this I how I know this). Ques.....c'mon son...do I really need to explain this??? LOL! Masons.... sighs...(depending on raising). tbc
